He did it once already against probably his toughest or 2nd toughest style matchup in his division on late notice. If he's shook, he'll probably shake it off and be ready to go.
Good point. I just don't buy into the idea that he doesn't get nervous before fights. He talks a lot about rituals being defensive and all that, but the same case could easily be made against his need to be so loud and fidgety before his fights.

"Hold me back, Uncle Dana!"

What do you think this will do to the PPV numbers? If I recall correctly, when Aldo pulled out and Mendes was announced, the hype exploded according to all their nerdy metrics and shit. Conor may be in for an even fatter payday than expected lol
There's a chance of that happening if Nate gets the fight and they start the build up quickly. Just run non-stop ads with middle fingers and post-fight call outs the next 2 weeks. This PPV will do well anyway with Conor and Holm.

Apologies, but i'm not following the breadcrumbs. What do you think the tweet means?
just speculating...it means nothing really. that glove got left behind last week.

it's the suspense that's killing me..making me try to find out who it's gonna be.

I wonder to what degree we can separate "fear of failure" from "fear of the man". Because you don't fear failure when you're sure you can succeed. If you're suddenly unsure about succeeding, it's because you're faced with a challenge that you think might exceed your best efforts. And in combat sports (or any one-on-one sport) it's always a person who brings that challenge to you.

It's an odd thing for sure. And a philosophical discussion that might take us down a deep ass rabbit hole.

you've never slept? :D
First time i was ever knocked out, i could still hear what was going on around me, but it was distorted. I felt like i was in a dream, and the people who were trying to wake me up were in it, instead of the other way around. When i came to, my vision was blurry and i had what appeared to be translucent bubbles expanding and popping in my vision. Sound was a little funny too.

Maybe like sleeping if you took a shitload of ambien first. :D

so Cerrone getting down to 155 you think?
the caption was.."i know a guy" and the vid is titled "go time" he's definitely letting us know he's running fast as shit for some reason. my guess is he's making himself ready to take that fight...if the ufc makes it so.
