So fukin great for so many reasons. Can't wait to see how Connor adjusts the mental thing to get an edge. My guess is he goes next to silent/respectful/friendly.

Hope Nate is getting PPV points. About time he made some real money, given what a shitty contract he has after all these years.

Nate would do well hammering the "You ripped me and my brother off" and "You're a cheap photocopy" for the next ten days about Conor. It might be the one angle that gets to Conor.

Funny thing: Line could just as easily be Nate -135 as Connor -165. Based on the short notice and 170 class stipulation (suggesting Nate was kind of taking a siesta by his standards), my guess is the books favor Connor.

I hope they are polite and civil gentlemen during this lead-up. THAT would crack me up.
Funny thing is Connor might follow that line. Nate probably won't. Instinct says Nate plays "fuck you dumb bitch" and "fuck you, overhyped bitch, I'm laughing at you, look at me laughing at you right now" cards. But the dandy gentleman cards would be so much more entertaining (agreed).

So does Diaz stand and box? Not likely. Nate has a great ground game. Mendes showed that Connor can be taken down. Diaz by sub anyone?

Holy shit. That's crazy. Nate should be huge compared to Connor at 170, and he boxes long (i.e. longer than his actual reach). Connor's a parallel match-up to Cerrone, except with the more diversified kicking game -- and Cerrone is a huge 155'er.

I'll take Nate 10 to 28 if anybody wants to lay it. The true odds are way heavier in one direction or the other (either Connor is a way heavier favorite than that, or an underdog, probably not anywhere in between), depending on how well it turns out Nate is able to execute with this short notice.
