I don't know how hard Nate has been training but honestly it wouldn't matter. The things he's good at will not help him against Conor.Honestly I was looking forward to the RDA fight but this fight with 2 weeks diaz doesn't move my needle.
after spooging his large signing bonusI don't know how hard Nate has been training but honestly it wouldn't matter. The things he's good at will not help him against Conor.
Of course part of him thinks he can win, but more so I think he's just taking this fight for the big pay day. The guy's only fought once in the past year on a 20/20 contract.
Now if it was Nick i think it would be very entertaining.I don't know how hard Nate has been training but honestly it wouldn't matter. The things he's good at will not help him against Conor.

Agreed. Nick can take a mauling and keep coming back. Daley is one of the hardest punchers ever at 170 and he couldn't knock Nick out despite landing flush multiple times. Now if it was Nick i think it would be very entertaining.
I guess it is like you said, depends on how much Nick has trained during off times. Im not a fan of a short fill in fight, 2 weeks under.Agreed. Nick can take a mauling and keep coming back. The only time I have ever seen him in less shape than normal was when he was injured in camp.I'm laughing at all the "Fight at 170? Nate must've really let himself go and is out of shape" comments. Nate walks around between 175-185 when he's not fighting.... You guys don't think fighters actually weigh the weight they are when they weigh in all the time, do you?
Secondly, when it comes to training and cardio, the Diaz Bros don't ever really stop.... One of the craziest things he's ever said to me was "I can always run 20 miles, now it might take me longer on some days than others, but I can always do it".... I was like, I'm exhausted just hearing you say 20 miles. He's a gym rat, much like Cerrone, Benson Henderson, and other guys like that... Always working out and training.
don't worry us MMA fans got every permutation coveredI'm worried this will be like the Mendes fight; it'll end in a way that just makes people go "Fuck, this could have been interesting if only Nate had gotten a full training camp".
Truth. Diaz bros are obsessed with fitness and don't Hendricks themselves between fights. You won't catch them wolfing up twinkies and KFC trying to set the pregnancy record for out of camp fighters. If they're not actually at the gym at any given moment, they're either on their way or have just gotten back from it.The only time I have ever seen him in less shape than normal was when he was injured in camp.
would think all the weed they smoke would give them the munchiesTruth. Diaz bros are obsessed with fitness and don't Hendricks themselves between fights. Eat like goku; train like goku.would think all the weed they smoke would give them the munchies
Conor's in LA right now.not sure if Ariel was serious but what is the issue anyway? Vegas has gyms and won't Conor be travelling too?
EDIT: thinking now that Mcgregor has rented a house in Vegas but could be wrong
Google Maps vegas doesn't look too far from stockton, but I am from England so what do I know
EDIT: just used google maps to measure the distance, it's about tree fiddy
Maybe they just munch on bowls of smoke? If the smoke is thick enough, it'll seem like food.
I'm glad Nate is finally getting a big money fight, but Conor seems like the worst possible matchup for him. I think a strong wrestler might be better. At least then he could use his strong submission game. I think Conor is going to beat Nate and beat him badly.I love diaz but really feel this is a terrible matchup for him. No way Connor doesn't brutalize him with kicks.
This.I don't know how hard Nate has been training but honestly it wouldn't matter. The things he's good at will not help him against Conor.
