The base? you mean the box springs? My sheets cover the mattress and the pads obviously but i never felt the need to get one of those box spring skirts.

I bought the icomfort about a year ago right after I had come back from a 11 day vacation. I didnt sleep worth a shit on vacation. I thought it was because the bed was way softer than the one I had.

So when I bought my new bed I got an extra firm one.

MISTAKE.

I am a side sleeper. I quickly found that I could not sleep on my side because the mattress was way too firm.

For the last year i have been trying to deal with it and just sleep on my back. For the last year I have slept like shit.

So a couple weeks ago i said the hell with it and bought the 3 inch memory foam pad. It was better but my shoulder still hurt after awhile.

So i added the 4 inch feather topper.

Mine has the layer of memory foam on top so when i sleep on my side its not bad. Didnt think i liked the memory foam untill i got use to it. Wis i would have just got the firm matteess tho.

I bought an expensive Tempur years ago. POS fell apart. They replaced it and it fell apart again.

Now I have a board with a judo mat on top and a 2 inch memory foam topper. Yes I like a firm bed

I love my tempurpedic memory foam bed. When sending the lady to pound town it's real nice because it forms around them and they don't slide away so you can do a real good job sending it home

I'm confused about only needing a full sized bed or a bed being too big....

Some people ball up when they sleep. Maybe a space issue? Fuck, i dunno. I got the king sized because i'm one of those assholes that stretches out when i sleep.

I have a king size bed because I told myself I'll never sleep in a tiny bed again after being on ship.

I also hung a painting of some horses over my bed this weekend because my gf says I fuck like a stallion.
