I agree, I could see Frankie getting Holloway for the next shot. Frankie has done more than enough to earn his shot and I also see him beating Holloway if they do fight.
Reason why i think they go with Aldo is because they know Conor can beat him and its not good to go go 0-2, not saying he cant beat Frankie tho but it would be smart for them to go with Aldo.
next up for nate's is a medical vacation until 4/20 . how appropriate.

I agree. They, Conor and the UFC, will suddenly backtrack on all their talk about Aldo not deserving an immediate rematch. That way Conor gets to avoid Frankie, who I think he should be scared to death of, and he'll have fresh material to use when talking trash to hype the fight. He can just keep mentioning the knockout of Aldo the first time. With Frankie, he won't be as confident. Although I don't see a fight with Aldo ending as quickly as the first one. I still feel like that was a once in a fighter's lifetime kind of win. Not to say he wouldn't win again, I just don't think he'll win with a quick KO again.

Oh please no, not Alvarez. Winner of Pettis/Barbosa. The last thing we need is to waste one of Nates fights (and ruin his momentum) with him getting smothered against the fence or the ground by guys like that. Nate can fight strikers/JJ guys exclusively and not fight for another title the rest of his career and I'd be perfectly fine with it. Good fights are more important than rankings and titles IMHO
Let the strikers do battle so we can see good fights and let the dry humpers figure out amongst themselves who is the best at it. The winners can meet at the top for a title shot or fight the champ separately.

mcgregor vs aldo and rda vs diaz.. i feel bad for edgar but i'd rather see mcgregor go fight diaz at 155 for belt after diaz wins and get a rematch then see mcgregor fight edgar... i feel bad because i would say let edgar fight mendes but he already just knocked him out and theres no one left except aldo but i'd rather see aldo rematch mcgregor
I agree, I just hope Nate has more for rda this time because the last fight was tough to watch. I heard Nate was hurt prior to that fight but he got his leg blitzed and I don't think that will change much.......
agreed. Nate's kryptonite is good strong wrestlers. RDA is a monster that Diaz is going to have lots of trouble with.
I haven't been watching much MMA recently. Has Alvarez turned into a grinder or somethin? I remember him being a scrapper. If he comes to fight him and Nate would be fireworks
he is still very much a scrapper, but as said, he's a very smart fighter. he knows Diaz has the reach and speed on him in the boxing. so why not take it down to the ground where you are really good?
Maybe I'm wrong and I've only watched one full fight and that was Pettis and I had to fast forward though most of it as it was all cage battling with Pettis trying to get off the cage or ground and Pettis left with barely a mark on him.......I was drunk so who knows but that is what I saw.

Conor should get Edgar next. All the conor people are suddenly backtracking now that he got derailed. Where is all this talk of him being a 3 division champ that we had Saturday? Lot of scared people in Conors camp now.

Clinch fighting is an extremely important part of mma. It may not look the most aesthetically pleasing, but as a former wrestler i'm sure you remember how taxing a clinch with an evenly matched opponent can be physically.

You are one of the few reasonable ones. Its not that i dont like him but all the talk was annoying as hell. Funny how all the 3 division champ people are quiet.
Agree, but, I was boring as shit and not sure I want to see it played out in mma. Just saying, the UFC could flood the weight classes with wrestlers if they wanted to but they seem to be choosy about who they give contracts to.
