Trump is single handedly destroying the future for the republican party having a president within the next decade.

It's a beautiful thing to watch.

Car crash politics.

Trump is so safe it's crazy. Of all the candidates he stands the LEAST chance of actually pushing through anything he's promising. The Republicans will block him. The Democrats will block him. It will be AMAZING.

He seems dangerous, but he's the safest bet.

0% chance Hillary wins this thing. I just can't see her stopping Trump's momentum. The only thing that kills Trump is Trump.

The main problem with Trump is he's all over place. Who knows what's really going on in his head.
I take people at exactly what they say, so that's what he thinks.

If it were reversed there would be no President Obama to this day, and I wouldn't have voted for him either. If Obama tweeted out 'Our great white President Bush hasn't fixed the war he caused for no reason' I couldn't would good conscience support him. If Obama tweeted out that 80% of white people are racist I'd have to pass on that too. The President has to at least pretend he wants to work for ALL of his constituents.

Apparently amongst ALL the stuff Trump has said there are people who don't care which constituents he alienates, or in most cases think that it's really anything to be bothered by at all.

2 things.
1) are those statistics wrong?
2) what politician doesn't alienate constituents?

But what if there is plenty of evidence that he's not a bigot or racist and was only using those words to make a bold point? I understand your sentiment, but those words also play into his narrative that we are far too politically correct. He's says a tremendous amount of goofy shit, but the disenfranchised part of me is really curious how an incredibly successful business man would run our country.

What other 'evidence' are we talking about? Quoting fake statistics using the same fake meme that was created by actual nazis? Bringing up Obama's race in an unnecessary display of us vs them? The 'some of you are good people' thing? The time he made fun of chinese people? I don't give credit for time served, you are what you portray yourself to be and literally NOBODY would speak up for Obama if he had done the same in reverse. Hell, we get to hear about how Beyonce is racist for dancing at the Superbowl.

Donald Trump isn't smart, not when it comes to being a President. Really, most of what he says is an exact repeat of the last thing he said. He's only there because people who want to call a certain group certain things loves that he actually does that. It's a middle-finger to the flawed version of what they keep claiming is political correctness. He doesn't even know the branches of government nor know the players on the world stage. He has no baseline. It's like hiring a guy with an English degree and TEACHING him how to be an IT professional. I know plenty of successful people in THEIR disciplines, it doesn't make them capable of mastering anybody else's.

Sorry dude, I don't support blatant isms against anybody, especially when I know that it's a 'good for us not for you' situation.

Nothing Trump has done/said would be ok for any Democrat to do. Nothing.

I certainly wasn't referencing the memes in regards to said evidence. I was actually referencing a video I watched this morning which I should have posted for you to see. It's an obviously biased piece, but you can't say all of the people that support Trump are foolish.

Yea, heartwarming.

I'm to believe that out of his entire life he's been a fuckhead? No, I don't believe that with most people. Something between his history and his birther movement changed him. Most people do SOMETHING good, and I guess it's lucky that he was able to have all those things filmed when he was doing them. It makes for a really neat video overdubbed with inspirational music with Trump doing and saying actual nice things. I guess that means we have to look over exactly what has gotten him this far.

Funny, people want to claim that he says it exactly how it is, then when you call him on what he says he's not really like that at all.Somehow his exact words are not his exact words when the media actually reposts them. Ugh.

I don't know the exact motivation of people who vote for Trump, but I do know that he wasn't relevant until he insulted Mexicans, and I do know that every time he's berated a minority group his support has expanded. That is a flat fact.

I say again, he is exactly who he has portrayed himself as.

So what do you say to non-white voters who support Trump? Are they just white sympathizers? What about the black people who stood up in that video and said with conviction they know Trump to be the best guy for the job?

You're making your points based on MSM Trump. I'm trying to find out who he is as a man based upon the people who know him.

Trump insisted on including Jews and blacks at Palm Beach golf course in 1990s

“When Donald opened his club in Palm Beach called Mar-a-Lago, he insisted on accepting Jews and blacks even though other clubs in Palm Beach to this day discriminate against blacks and Jews. The old guard in Palm Beach was outraged that Donald would accept blacks and Jews so that’s the real Donald Trump that I know.”

That was author Ronald Kessler in a July 2015 interview with Newsmax, talking about Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s business practices when it came to building a golf course in the Deep South.

In the 1990s, Trump was running into a problem getting his golf course approved by the local town council in Palm Beach, which was imposing restrictions on his bid.

So Trump shot back with maximum effect. As reported by the Washington Post’s Mary Jordan and Rosalind Helderman on Nov. 14, 2015: “Trump undercut his adversaries with a searing attack, claiming that local officials seemed to accept the established private clubs in town that had excluded Jews and blacks while imposing tough rules on his inclusive one.”

The Washington Post report continues, “Trump’s lawyer sent every member of the town council copies of two classic movies about discrimination: ‘A Gentleman’s Agreement,’ about a journalist who pretends to be Jewish to expose anti-Semitism, and ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner’ about a white couple’s reaction to their daughter bringing home a black fiancé.”

I say that they are flawed. I don't doubt that he's a likable guy and I'm quite sure there are going to be people who know him 'personally' that are going to stick up for him. At some point you have to start taking people at their word.

Hulk Hogan wrestled with minorities from the beginning of his career, in a private conversation he says “I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f–k some n—-r, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n—-r worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we’re all a little racist. F–king n—-r.”

When confronted with this Hogan say predictably 'I'm not' the dreaded r-word.

If my lifelong interactions leads me to tweet out false stats created by neo-nazis about people I really care about then those people don't need enemies.

At some point we're going to have to actually love each other rather than say something nasty and then claim that it isn't really you.

Good points here.

We're actively learning the country doesn't give a shit about mutual compassion with Bernie Sanders losing to Hillary.

I'm actually confused why you posted this. So......he did something admirable in his life regarding race and then much later he rides the race car virtually into the white house?

One precludes the other and doesn't dismiss the current atmosphere he has helped create. Do you think the millions of people that support Trump think better or worse of minorities based on his opinion with that tweet alone? Do you think he's helped the current racial climate with that post alone? I'm glad he got his golf course.

You make good points. But actions speak louder than words, imo. Who doesn't talk a little shit every now and then?

And I agree 100% that he has been terrible for race relations. But one idiot redneck should not be the posterboy for all Trump supporters.
