What you did was address one point, totally ignoring the video and the chronological order of Trump asking for violence in favor of redirecting to 'are you Mexican'? The subject was Trump asking for violence, which he's done too many times. You have not addressed that at all. I'm trying to avoid posting each statement in text because the laundry list of excuses for each time would span 10 more pages.
Nah. I think we're good. My line of questioning with anybody here is the same as it would be with my friends. If one of my buddies came to me and said he supported Trump I'd be like 'why' and give my list of reasons why I am completely opposed to him. My thoughts are always to get people to understand my point of view and for me to understand theirs. I don't want to drag a thread through the mud and have everybody think I think badly of them. I'm just not a fan of stereotypes or bullies. I consider most people here to be good and I always have praise for this place, our vehement disagreements changes nothing about that. I just want to put this out here in case anybody ever forgets that this is still the best place going for real civil discussion. I hope we can continue this in the future and hope nobody ever backs away from their opinion with me, because I'm not trying to be right and shut you up, I'm just trying to represent where I'm coming from.

Thing is, he's become the embodiment of this "Just tell them what they want to hear" political mentality. I expect politicians to fall flat on a lot, if not most of their promises, but I expect that at some point they'll at least give us an explanation for how they'll do things. I can remember on more than one occasion where someone would say "How do you plan to accomplish *goal a*?" and his response simply being "Because I'll say so."
