Conor McGregor may no longer be part of UFC 200, but that hasn't changed his want for a rematch against Nate Diaz.

McGregor held an impromptu Q&A on Twitter Monday morning, addressing a variety of topics from UFC 200 to his year-end goals. He defended his ground game and promised to "school" Diaz in their second fight, then predicted that a UFC 200 card without him would fail to sell "anything close" to 1.5 million pay-per-views. He also alluded to making a return to featherweight at the end of 2016.

He did have one point right about reversing Nate at the end of the first but said he had him controlled which seemed right also....... but I went back and watched that fight again and Conor grabbed the fence I control him at the end of exchange....he was warned twice by herb and the round ended....

Guys who can't physically bully and throw around the Diaz brothers have A LOT of trouble with them. I don't think a rematch with Nate goes so well.....

Honestly I'd MUCH rather see a rematch with Aldo. There was so much build up and then a quick KO. I felt cheated like an old Mike Tyson fight. I think a rematch goes very differently with those two. Not saying Conor loses, just saying it would probably be WAAAAAAYYYY more interesting a fight.

He also won't be paid $10million. He should have just showed up. But no. He wouldn't.

I could see that card doing 1.2 - 1.4 mil. Conor looking super desperate now. This must why Conor didn't wanna do Press at Stockton and Vegas.

Also, Nate wasn't worried about being reversed because he's excellent off of his back, and if that round had continued from that position, I feel fairly confident that Nate would've at least threatened with a submission.

Bloke seems to be having a melt down. I genuinely feel bad for him

UFC 200 won't break a million.
For real. This card has no chance to break 1 mill...

Jones/DC 1 did 800k buys and there has been a lot of down time and problems for Jones so I'm not convinced the 2nd time around performs. Outside of McGregor and Rousey the UFC hasb't broken 1mill since Weidman/Silva II in 2013. And before that is was in 2010.

Meanwhile someone should tweet to Conor:
"McGergor won't get his $1mill to show and $9mill in Pay Per View points because he won't be there...."

Exactly. Ginger snaps is deliusional here. It WILL do over 1 million easily, and probably hit very close to 1.5 actually.
DC & Jones are selling this as well as anything he could. 200 doesn't need Mac. Mac needs 200.

I grow weary of the talking. Let the chips fall where they may and I wish the best for everyone.

The UFC still wins by not paying him 10 mil. He sure is barking pretty loud to get on that card for anguy that has supposedly made all his money already. He knows that kind of money will never be on the table for him again.

I don't disagree, but the title of this thread is: McGregor: UFC 200 won't get 1.5 million PPV buys
And it should also be AND McGregor wont get his 10 million dollar guarantee. the UFC is gonna be ok, this isnt gonna set them back at all.

Yeah, I'm actually buying this card as long as they don't severly overprice it. This card is stacked if Conor is not heavily influencing you, a real hardcore fan would love the amount of solid fights on this card.

I'm down with that. Would love to see Aldo again.
