Hello friends,
My my name is Jay and I got an invite from the community twitter when I tweeted to metamoris. It's been a while since I've registered and posted to a community. Last time I did was at sherdog. Only hung out in the paid section.

I'm an MMA fan. I started following it in 1997. I was at my local video store and saw in the "Special Interest" section the box for UFC 1 and saw "NO RULES" and thought this shit would be fun to look at. I saw Royce fight all these huge guys and knew he was going to lose. Soon after I became hooked. I couldn't get UFC on my then cable provider so I switched over to direct tv where they had PRIDE. Watched that until UFC came on and thought UFC had better shows but PRIDE had better fights. Uncle Dana purchased PRIDE and became UFC. I now watch whatever MMA shows on but not a fan of Ben Askren.

I'm a glamour photographer by trade so I spend my days and some nights shooting hot chicks. By night and weekends I'm father of six daughters aged 18-5. Married 16 years.

I look forward to being a valued member!

WELCOME!! I was just going to make a thread inviting newer members to post. Great to see a new username post on here. Hopefully you post more often. Especially on Ben Askren discussions, maybe I can impact your opinion :)

I will check out the Ben forum but the reason I'm not a fan is he talked himself out of the UFC. He personally cheated us out of his chance to stack up against the best. We all know Uncle Dana and his ego and own self worth. If Ben had already been in the UFC it would be one thing, but his trash talking to get IN there is whats silly. He may get in one day, but it will be when the WW div is light and Uncle Dana needs him. He may be past his prime by then since the WW div is pretty stacked for the UFC. Sadly put, the UFC is where the best needs to be since the UFC owns everything. Sorry, enough on that subject. As you can see, I'm a passionate, but fun guy.

Some have asked for photo proof I hang with naked chicks a lot of days of the week. This isn't the section for nakedness so I will keep it pg-13:

Right on buddy! I've got a boy (13) and a 9 year-old daughter. She is a riot..........too much like me though! I'm fucked!! With that said however, I always wanted a daughter or two as I had several motherly figures growing up who had tremendous impacts on my life, so it seemed natural that i would want to have that close relationship with a daughter. I would have had two but we had a mid-term miscarriage five years ago. That was a lot rougher than I ever thought it would be. Anyways, here's to the love, strength and sweetness of a daughter brother!

Got two myself and love them to death. My oldest (age 16) has type 1 diabetes and is very low vision, but she's a great kid. A bit moody, a lot lazy...but she's home damn near every Friday & Saturday night, because she'd rather spend time w/ mom & dad. Doesn't drink or do any drugs (my guess is her diabetes helped w/ that decision). Makes decent grades although everything has to be blown up (font size), etc. And my youngest (age 11) is dad's best buddy. My shadow lol. A diva, going to be the girl every dude wants to date in HS (got her moms looks), but has a heart of gold.

Wouldn't trade em for the world.

Oh wow so sorry to hear of your loss, bro. I technically only have five. My wife and I lost one when she was seven months pregnant. I still count her as she was a baby we held, named and loved. I thought it would be easy to get over but you never get over the loss of a child. We never realize how much we invest in our children until they're no longer here.

I grew up with my mom and her sister and my grandmas. I like you, grew up with women everywhere and growing up, all my friends were females. Which is why my career is around women. I get women more, although my oldest with my wife is JUST like my wife and my wife is JUST like my mother in law. All bossy and stubborn. They together is a nightmare.

Ah, Diabetes sucks. I spent five days in ICU and was technically "walking dead" cause I was undiagnosed type1. So I know her pain. I'm thankful that that's all I have, but being 38 and diagnosed was difficult since I had almost 40 years of doing whatever I want. I've had it five years this September and learn every day.

My 8yo is my princess. All of my girls play the hell out of me. They know it, I know it but I can't say no for some reason. My oldest, shes 18 and graduates this year. She lives with her mom but she is spoiled too. I always say I'm glad I've never been attached to money as they take every penny and then some. My wife is the WORST.

Thanks for the kind words. Been giving herself insulin shots since Age 8. She's a trooper. And mine play me as well...I'm going broke, but I love em.
