Yeah, how dare people want to be treated equally. Next thing blacks and women are going to want to vote to. Selfish bastards.Didn't particularly like Cerrone until yesterday.
Now he's my favourite fighter. It takes balls to call someone a fag publicly in the dictatorship of liberal america nowdays. And no, I don't hate gay people, nor do I wish them anything but well, but I can't stand the gay agenda being pushed everywhere. There's hunger in the world, people are homeless, people are dying everyday in wars, drug abuse is rampant all over the world, but the issue that is most important for zuffa is gay rights.
War Cerrone. Fuck zuffa.
How are gay people treated unequally? What's voting got to do with someone saying a fighter fought like a fag?Yeah, how dare people want to be treated equally. Next thing blacks and women are going to want to vote to. Selfish bastards.
Would you call a black person a derogatory name they've stated publicly many time they don't like being called? If the answer is 'yes', you're a racist. It the answer is 'no, of course not' then you should probably understand how they aren't treated equally. How are gay people treated unequally?
I hated the fight but his explanation of it made me immediately forgive him.i think he fought smart is all
He also looked like he felt guilty about doing it. Earned some points with that.I hated the fight but his explanation of it made me immediately forgive him.
Took the fight on two days' notice, isn't gonna stand in the pocket with one of the greatest fighters ever, had to resort to what he does best, which is wrestling.
Anderson had solid enough ground defense to prevent Cormier from passing guard but not solid enough to get back up.
The fight sucked but you can't shit on Cormier for fighting to win.
Yes, good point. That definitely won him sympathy points from me.He also looked like he felt guilty about doing it. Earned some points with that.
he did enough to get the win which in the long run helped him and didnt really hurt Silva. UFC is transforming into the WWE so I think they should do away with records. W and L should just be abandoned and bring in the "from parts unknown"I hated the fight but his explanation of it made me immediately forgive him.

Give me a "for instance" regarding derogatory names. I personally don't use the words faggot and nigger ... having said that I don't use the word motherfucker either. I avoid profanity just because I think it ruins one's vocabulary and express a lot of negativity.Would you call a black person a derogatory name they've stated publicly many time they don't like being called? Exactly. A loss for Cormier would have been really bad, but a loss for Anderson doesn't negatively affect him in any way.he did enough to get the win which in the long run helped him and didnt really hurt Silva.
I'm ok with lettong Conor fight whoever he wants, because Conor is entertaining and his fights make the company a lot of money. But giving Dan Henderson a title shot just makes everything seem like a joke.UFC is transforming into the WWE so I think they should do away with records. But people can say motherfucker on camera any time any day. So gay people are sacred but mothers can be fucked all day long?As far as Cerrone goes, of course it was offensive. There are people who find the word offensive, and anyone with a little sense knows that it's a word you can't say when you're in the public eye.
I don't think that Cerrone is homophobic. He has certainly never given me that impression. He just said something that people say in conversation every day but that you can't say on camera.
Motherfucker has never been used offensively to refer to a certain group in society. No one out there finds motherfucker offensive. That is not the case with the word fag or faggot. But people can say motherfucker on camera any time any day. So gay people are sacred but mothers can be fucked all day long?
No one here grabbed their pitchfork, it was you who went out of your way to glorify the comment. I don't see you everyday, so I have no idea if you use words like that, but if your opinion of someone changes from negative to positive because they use a homophobic slur, you need to reevaluate your value system.Give me a "for instance" regarding derogatory names. On the other hand I won't go grab my pitchfork if I hear someone say faggot or nigger...just like I won't grab my pitchfork if I hear someone say motherfucker.
It's been a centuries old tradition to say someone fights like a man / girl / fag. It doesn't mean that if someone does say it, he hates women or gay people necessarily.
I find it pretty ridiculous that in the us society, it's a cardinal sin to call someone a faggot, but calling someone a motherfucker is just having a little fun.
BBC anyone? Now if we call Daniel Cormier a fag for anything he did last night, it should be for the way he eye-fucked the shit out of Cain Velasquez at the post fight presser.
