It's too late now. No more refugees, no more immigrants from countries that pose a security risk for awhile is a good 1st step. Then you can focus on the shit storm that's already taking place inside the borders.

What should have happened IMO is refugees should be sent to countries that are most closely in line with their cultures. A Syrian refugee doesn't get sent to the middle of Europe but instead goes to a country that speaks the same language and has a similar culture. Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iran, etc. If those countries refuse impose sanctions on them. Makes a lot more sense to me.

Iranians speak a different language

Forgot about that. I know it's a country with a large majority of people that follow Islam so it still fits into the list of countries I feel more closely match their culture. Not as good as an Arabic speaking one though.
