Are you trying to tell me that Donald Cerrone would ride down the Las Vegas strip on that particular bike, wearing that goofy fucking helmet?!?

Paid promotion under the guise of insider content is sleazy.

They do such blatant paid promotion, but they're not even good at it.

Which bike fits Ceronne's style better...

vs this...

I'm not saying that you're clueless when I comes to motorcycles but to think a Sportster 883 is a man's bike or is built for tough guys is way off. That's what manlets and women purchase for the most part. Those full dresser bikes are awesome.

By the way, that article and the Tweet are both part of the problem. Donald Ceronne is not doing @ mentions to UFC and Harley Davidson on his personal time because he wants to share his opinion with the world.

UFC is one giant commercial these days. It's no longer about the fights.

I think that would have made more sense when each fighter wore 12 sponsor logos per shirt/shorts...

I welcome this BL/Monster/Harley era...the jesus didn't tap era was brutal

I'm definitely not a gear head. But I've ridden both. One made me feel like a comfortable old man. The other made me feel like I was strapped to a fucking rocket.

I'm just saying, it doesn't mesh up with Ceronne's style.

I don't mean to suggest the helmets are funny looking. But if you're going to strap something to your head for safety, make sure it's an effective piece of equipment. Not a hollowed out turtle shell with a chin strap.

Don't put your sport bike bullshit on the chopper riders.

Ryann Von Doom @Ryann Von Doom, which is kinda my point really. Bikers who ride to experience "freedom" aren't going to be as concerned about their safety.

Cerrone wouldn't wear the helmet. He's wearing it in the video for the sake of liability.

Yup. This is a big point of arguments in the bike world. The sport bikes are always deemed more dangerous yet the riders seems to usually sport the best gear as far as safety with the full face and armour suites. The guys who ride the Harley types want to really show how badass they are and wear a helmet that will do nothing but male them some what legal if their area even requires it. If you have a Harley and buy a full face prepare to be shunned.

I ride a cruiser and wear a full-face helmet. My father has a VTX 1800 and wears a full-face. He and I agree: the only thing worse than dying in a terrible accident is surviving a terrible accident.

"I wore a brain bucket and it saved my life! But now I don't have a face!"
