Amazing stat here:

"There are 17 American men in history who have run under 2:10 in the marathon," Epstein says. "There were 32 Kalenjin who did it in October of 2011."

A country of >300 million has produced 17 people who have ever run under 2:10 in a marathon

A tribe of < 5 million had 32 people do it in one month

That is interesting but if you're not using it to support your point, maybe we should discuss it in another thread?

I posted the picture. We're focusing on the microscopic now while ignoring the original meaning of the word. The differing physical traits are there. But we're digging so hard to pretend they don't exist. Feels like a giant defense mechanism if I'm being honest.
No, you're conflating scientific definitions with social definitions. To say race has a physical basis is to say that the different races are subspecies of homo sapiens. That is the ONLY scientific definition. Which science tells you is equivalent to saying a grey squirrel and a black squirrel are physically different, which they aren't. Phenotypical differences of such an insignificant nature are not enough to make race "real." You're taking an anthropocentric view that basically says "my eyes see different, so there's difference," but science overthrew that perspective centuries ago.

This is an opinion. Nobody was being scientific about the word until the social definitions came into play. And even in the context of language, I've proven that to be false.

I'm also left wondering why Vutu is on the confused side of this argument. He loves pointing out our differences. I saw him claim a few months back that he could accurately identify a person's race if their parents are of the same origin.

What exactly did you mean by that @Kirk, biologically speaking?

If any side is confused, it's yours. You said race was real and listed a physical trait to distinguish them. It was then demonstrated to be arbitrary.

I'm not sure why you're still arguing.

Actually, To say race has a physical basis is to say that is whatever the person saying that then qualifies what they mean with further explanation - you are stating what someone means then counter that point that no one made

btw, I saw some Micronesian 100 year old pygmy types in the 80s on a school field trip, I am 90% sure they were maybe 25% human at most - not sure if that applies here, but was crazy - also saw some senior citizen lepers in concert

arbitrary
ˈɑːbɪt(rə)ri/
adjective
  1. 1.
based on random choice or personal whim, rather than any reason or system.
    "an arbitrary decision"
You're digging so deeply to find arbitrary meaning that you ignore the generalization. Maybe because the generalization is the offensive part...

First Google search result of "arbitrary" = digging deeply?

I don't find it offensive, stop making strawmen. Your argument has been crushed and now you're posting random pictures in a passive aggressive manner because you know that debating honestly has been terrible for you.

If you want pics of group differences, refer back to the ones I posted.

1) Leigh: race is not real.
2) IschKabibble: yes it is.
3) Leigh: list the differences.
4) Everyone else: *crickets*
5) IschKabibble: average skull size and shape, with corresponding soft tissue.
6) Leigh: that applies to ANY two groups of random people.
7) IschKabibble: shit, better spam 5) and hide it behind some deflection.
8) Leigh: LOL knock it off.

Dude. I'm being anything but passive aggressive. The number of races is arbitrary. What you wish to call them is arbitrary. But to pretend the differences aren't there is pretty ignorant.

Why are you comparing "random" people? I thought this was an argument about specifics? I've detailed noticeable differences between groups of people so many times in this thread.

And you're claiming I didn't...
