I would be shocked if Trump audited the Fed. It was initially Alex Jones' idea on an Infowars broadcast w/Roger Stone & Stone said he would pass it along to the campaign because Trump would probably be up for it. a couple days later, Trump blasted Cruz on twitter for missing the vote.

I hope he is sincere, but it always seemed more like pandering to the Infowars audience to me. 'audit the fed' keeps dying in the senate.

yea it's a long shot i doubt even if Ron Paul was president it would be easy. lots of powerful people up there who pull the strings.

agreed, too many with a vested interest. It gets closer every vote though. I think it will happen eventually, then maybe we can move on to the DOD/Pentagon.

at least he owned it though, instead of trying to talk his way out of it like a Clinton or Trump would. much rather hear that than "what difference does it make" or "I will know when it's appropriate, believe me, & better than you". Johnson's response was welcomed humility.

but yeah, it was a gaffe (& somewhat of a gotcha question IMO), but the way he handled it gained my respect & further demonstrates the difference between him & someone like Clinton/Trump.

IMHO.
