This makes little sense. But, wehay! I guess....
I think it makes sense bro..what's the point of hiring people to remove gifs from twitter...I never got that. It directly inhibits something cool spreading

Doubt it means its OK to stream from their POV now...it just means they can't do nothing about that...like before..makes way more sense than firing Canadian and UK staff.

Well my interpretation is that it is ok to stream..and i shall go forth to spread the stream in honor of the laid off anti pirate league

If the goal is to actually grow the sport then the new owners understand exposure is still very much needed and very much a good thing.

Probably a case where WME-IMG already has their own staff in place & simply cutting costs. I doubt they're going to completely ignore piracy, although some of the shit Zuffa did (like policing YouTube for promo vids & going after GIF makers) was absurd. Lean on the fans for free promotion of your product.

So does this mean I no longer have to connect to a VPN before downloading torrents of their events?

I didn't consider the extent they went to. I just thought streaming alone.

You have opened my eyes. Appreciated

Like Teen Gohan @Teen Gohan mentioned, they went way too far routinely..basically if something was on the Internet and had any sort of ufc content they wanted it..or rather took it down..then highered other people to do the same or similar job, like zombie prophet on Twitter now.there was a big thread about this a bit ago.. lookoutawhale @lookoutawhale gave some solid info..anyone remember what thread that was?

I'm not sure the exact thread but I remember kneeblock @Kneeblock had a thread about this stuff.
