Imagine you are Edgar and you're headlining the card in a few weeks. He's getting 15k in sponsors according to this picture. A big Phillippine sponsor could easily match that. I'm sure a company would have no problem being an exclusive sponsor for a main event for only $15k in an event that will surely have millions of eyes.

It's another monopoly put in place by the UFC.

Yea. Cowboy said all his sponsors are keeping him on. He won't be able to wear that stuff during press conferences, weigh ins, or the fight though.
