You might remember I put up a gofundme link for a guy dying of cancer with a young family asking people to donate over at masato's?

Well I got an email saying 'hey remember that cancer patient? well he's dead now but you can continue to support his family by clicking the link below"

That was strange, if I got ripped off that on them, What donated $500 tho lol
Damn, 500$ is money.

Yall are good people. I still think everyone should give to msf. That is great charity.

Wild @Wild got an updated list?
One of my wife's clients family is struggling. She called me last night and said her client (who suffers from mental Ilness) told her that her mom and dad could no longer afford to buy her medication. I'll try to find out some more info. I mean, I'm sure there are people out there struggling a hell of a lot more than this family (they have a roof over their heads)...but they're certainly in need.

Let's hear what others come up with as well.

Ok here's some info on a family in need. This is an email I got the other day from a co-worker.

This year we will once again be sponsoring a family in need and this years family is a single dad (mom left when the kids were younger) and he has 3 girls all aged 10 years and older.

Dad was employed part time at the College here in Kelowna as well as a part time student in the trades.

Sadly dad has just been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour and is not able to work. He is currently waiting for medical EI to start but in the meantime has no benefits at all because he was only employed part time. Once EI begins it is still not enough to cover day to day expenses let alone Xmas.

No pressure at all, this is completely voluntary...........whoever would like to contribute please let me know.

If you guys feel these people are a good option I'm happy to coordinate with whoever is collecting from this thread and get the money off to them.

Let me know if I can help in any way. Office is collecting gift cards to supermarkets, that may be a good option for here.
