He does have stories for days. I thought a lot of them were bs, or at least embellished to a great deal. Apparently he has had the guy he kidnapped on his podcast to prove it's true.

The times he talks about picking up chicks with ease and banging them no questions asked is a load of bullshit, other than that who knows, i find the rest of the podcast interesting and funny at times.....tried listening to the one with bas rutten but about 15 minutes in, there goes bad talking about how great and respected he is and how he teaches people to kick and if fighters want to win, they just need to listen to bas....
He spent time in jail for the kidnapping and i dont doubt he did some crazy shit but he goes tit for tat with every guest and rarely tells same story twice. Its entertaining as hell anyway.
I think most the stories are based on facts and Joey adds some spice because he is such a great captivating story teller.
But I do believe he was a freaking savage at an early age...and likely banged tons of chicks with his reckless/big balled swagger...he wasn't always a fat guy.

He has a one hour special that's up on youtube. I was bored one night and clicked on it just to see what his stand up is like, since I've only heard him on a few podcasts here and there. I got 20 minutes in and literally nothing he said was funny, so I turned it off. 20 minutes is a lot of time to give a comedian to at least make you smile or laugh, yet this guy couldn't do it. I welcome any of you to attempt to watch that special and claim it is even moderately funny.

Maybe my post wasn't clear. I'm a fan of his. Whenever he is on Rogan that episode gets bumped ahead of all the others I have waiting. He cracks me up. I just don't know that I fully believe every story he tells. He has lived a crazy life, no doubt, but it's possible he add a little to the stories for dramatic effect.
