"Note: The 80% LOWER RECEIVERS are in the white and are not a gun, NO paper work or PAL is required to purchase them. All local laws should be followed, and it is up to YOU to find out what those laws are. Before you complete the lower, know what the laws are in your jurisdiction to prevent being in violation of the law."

Its a cost effectiveness thing for me. If i had unlimited resources of course i would only buy H&K and Sigs.
Ya...I couldn't justify the price tag right now

Coolest H&K is the P7

used one and it is unreal perfect fit and very accurate...only one I really want

I can get the M&P for around 500 and the H&K is around 900. If i was a every weekend shooter i could maybe justify the cost difference but i can buy 2 for 1 with the M&P.

That gun is ugly! Whats that on the front strap? Some kind of 1911 type pressure safety?

exactly...safety on grip

looks super ugly

But really the most ergonomic gun I have shot....feels very natural....had a choice between a p30L and a rebuilt p7^^^

chose the p30L because 16 rounds....but the P7 is really cool if you ever get a chance...handle one or shoot one

When you pull in the front strap, does it make the trigger move forward at all? Looks like the resting trigger position is pretty far back. Not much room to pull and reset

The Heckler & Koch P7 is the best pistol ever. -- TTAG
read about it
really a one of a kind top notch pistol

was too long ago to recall the feel of the trigger....I shot very tight groups though

That guy writing that is definitely in love w that gun. But the words he is typing dont sound so great to me. The gun fires when you pull the front strap and then pull the trigger. But that can also work in reverse if you pull the trigger then squeeze the strap. What? And something about if gun doesnt fire you need to release the strap and pull it again to try and fire again. No thx. Cant imagine id be cool w that front strap that takes up to 15lbs to pull. Seems bit much for one handed shooting too. Thanks for the link though

I barely read his article....All I can tell you is how it felt and shot
your grip is likely much more than 15lbs on any pistol FYI

Its not just him who is big on it...the pistol is highly regarded...magazine capacity is the only negative I saw/see in it.

The one I shot had 1.5 lb trigger pull...was really sweet to shoot

This 9mm is pretty fuckin sweet too. I love Sigs. Hadnt seen this before

Didnt notice at first it has an internal hammer. Even better

A key feature of the pistol is its modular design. The main module of the P320 is an internal stainless steel frame fire control unit, which consists of the integrated fire control group (trigger, hammer and all necessary linkage and springs), ambidextrous slide release (one on each side of the pistol), ejector and four slide rails. This steel receiver unit is used in every P320 grip module, top end, and chambering combination and is inserted into the grip frame module and held in place by the axis pin of the disassembly lever. The firearm's serial number is on the fire control unit instead of the grip module. The fire control unit allows the operator to interchange differently-sized slide assembly or top end modules and polymer grip frame modules and trigger shoes and (limited) chambering conversions to adapt the gun to the individual user and address different needs.

Isnt that the same design the Glock and Sprigfields have?

Yes. It's a striker fired pistol like a Glock. I shot one over the summer and it was a pretty nice little gun. Pretty good value too. I think they come in about the same price as the M&P's.

Within Canada sure. The ATF aren't big fans of them which is why I wouldn't bother trying to ship one in. Personally, I have little use for them anyways. It's less expensive and more practical to buy a new completed lower.

The original pic I posted is a 80% completed ruger 10/22 receiver that I had shipped from Select Fire LLC in the states. There is literally zero issue with shipping them into Canada and the ATF will not attempt to prosecute a Canadian for a legal act committed in Canada.

The Canadian Firearms Centre and RCMP aren't big fans of a lot of legal firearm products either. Personally, I haven't let that stop me as long as I'm not breaking the law.

This is possible because you are not shipping a firearm. Not even a part of a firearm that is complete.

They under under heavy attack by western state governments in the US.

Yes, I explained this earlier. Hence the 'paperweight' term being used.

Actually, I just checked into it. They dont sell to Canadians anymore.
That's become the case with almost all of them from what I understand and it's largely because of the pressure they're getting from the ATF. I support anyone who wants to complete an 80% lower, I just don't see the value in it for myself personally as 80%'s seem to command as much or more money than a completed receiver.
