Super Fight Series on Fight Pass just ended and the main card is about to start on ESPN 3.

there were some good fights already, a sequence of brawls actually, especially the dog fight at WW with Murthel Groenhart vs. Thongchai. the main card features on the LHWs with a tournament and a title fight. much better than whatever's been happening in mma IMO.

Im currently watching.

Havnt been able too for awhile, wasnt available on Canadian tv.

Not the best event tobight either, only fight on the SFS that I was interested in was Thongchai vs Groenhart.

Plus alot of the fighters that drew me to Glory arent fighting for them anymore.

yes this event is pretty underwhelming I actually watched two hours of The Wire re-run over the Super Fight Series (only stopped for Thongchai vs Groenhart). but the fights were entertaining at least. Adegbuyi vs. Braddock was very good.

The Wire > Glory > UFC

it turned to shit when they were desperately pushing low level american kickboxers on every card but ever since they left Spike it got much, much better. divisions are shallow as fuck but they're slowly adding talent from all over the world.

I love the product. Love it. But it's somewhere tucked away on ESPN3 whatever that is, and Fight Pass, both I do not have. Just a shitty platform for them. And too bad I have to miss it. Sometimes rather would watch that than some UFC or Bellator card.

that is what watching ufc in canada is like its on tsn5 in the west and tsn 1 in the east unless the blue jays or the maple leafs are playing then it all changes.it is easier to just stream

True. But it is always easier to have it on a regular channel. I see they have curling on ESPN, curling! So why not kick boxing?

They did some stuff to promote this card. They have ufc-type preview shows with multiple shots of Tiffany Van Sost in a bikini, they had a podcast with Murthel Groenhart as a guest, their commentary team did a Q&A in reddit...they're trying

No 2nd round TKO. McDermott was tough as hell took a beating and even dropped Liam early in the fight.
