With the lack of contenders at 205. If I'm Jacare or Romero I'm looking at moving up. No way the UFC would let either fight Pierre if he wins. We all know he would fight a Diaz or Conor. Jacare/Romero vs Cormier/ Rumble in any combination are fights I'd be excited to pay to watch.

Luke Rockhold is being forgotten in all of this. He went from the top of the heap to not in the conversation.
We will be getting much more of this type of favoritism and leapfrogging with the new owners. They need money now, so they will put any fight that'll see the most money together.

On the fight itself, has the potential to be Interesting. Will probably go to decisions, but I'm curious to see how gsp looks after a long lay off. Curious to see if gsp can take bisping down. Im hoping he can't, so that we can see a striking battle.

I'm glad Georges is really challenging himself by stepping up. I think Woodley/Wonderboy winner would be a better fight but he can still make a case for it if he loses to Bisping.

Right now I think it's between Fedor, Andy and him and I don't think a win over Bisbing pulls him ahead.
But, if he wins then beats Romero or Jacare I think he would be. And if he then went back down to WW and got that belt back he would be solidified at the GOAT with no room to argue. That's a lot of ifs though.
Lol that's holding him to a pretty high standard. He's already the greatest WW by a comfortable margin and WW was the toughest weight class for years. Also, to move up directly to a title shot against the guy who beat both Anderson and a Fedor beater in Hendo on paper at least puts Georges in the history books as a strong MMAMath GOAT contender.
I don't think he has to go back to WW or beat two MW contenders, but he would have to win the belt and defend it at least once. That may be enough.
