He knew that if he made weight successfully and won tomorrow (a real good possibility) that the megafight with Conor would be inevitable. They'd probably have brought Conor in the cage after the fight.

So what does he do, on the eve of his fake title fight?

He falls ill, unable to handle all the pressure that a fight with Conor would undoubtedly bring.

Khabib should just delete his Twitter account.

Now you mention it, but what is there really left for Conor in the lightweight division? One fighter who can't even make it to the cage, and another that got knocked out by a debutant twice in one fight. Pretty much another cleared out division, already. The Mayweather fight is the only sensible thing to do from here.

Yeah he's essentially cleaned put two divisions, either through fighting or fear
