Fuck Monster, that will keep these guys up all night. We need a new sponser for Legacy League.

Not gonna lie, if one of these older HOF fighters fought in Bellator and got an Ensure sponsorship... It would be one of the most balling things ever LOL.... They get it, let them cash in on it

I bet Viagra or ciallis would pay big for a fighter to promote their product.

Yeah the whole talking to Bellator thing is pretty weird. The UFC just had CM Punk fight. They have fighters in their 40's on the current roster. Why wouldn't they give Matt a fight against someone like Serra (who has said he would come out of retirement and lose weight to fight Hughes)? IMO there's probably more to this story.
I'm thinking maybe he's pissed after getting fired and wants to stick it to them (not that they will really care ...)? Bellator is becoming more and more like WCW in the Monday Night Wars with Hogan, Piper, the Outsiders, Savage, etc., snatching up all the old timers.

Looks like the scuttling of that no show job Matt had with the UFC is hurting his pockets big time................

So he'll only sign to fight someone who he knows he can beat?

Sounds like Matt is having a tough time selling potatoes at the farm back home and now he's looking to offer himself up as one to pay the bills.

I guess he really needed that job as Chief Thumb-Up-Asser at Zuffa headquarters.

he was probably trying to be funy with the "if i could find a guy i could beat, i might come back." y'all are a tough crowd

worth noting that he said "the guy im talkign about fighting... might have been on this show"

i dunno who joe buck is. but depending on how popular he is, someone here might be able to guess who Matt is refering to...

It appears as though Matt Hughes is considering a comeback.

Hughes, who hasn’t fought since September 2011, recently told Joe Buck that he’s “in talks” to fight again.

“If I could find an opponent that I could definitely beat, I would go again,” Hughes said in an interview that was shot earlier this month.

..............

According to multiple sources, the 43-year-old has had talks with Bellator recently about fighting again but no offer has been made and those talks were classified as preliminary.

Would love to see that jerk Hughes fight again. He's still super hero strong and it would make me watch. I haven't watched mma in a long time I'm so old school.
