Hard song to sing. Not just because of the fulsetto, but the vowels or consonant cpmbos always felt like more difficult ones to me than other sounds

Good share. I've loved this duDE since "airborne"
"Chill brah

"Wait he did it again I'm going to kill him"

Auggie

Bro I could recite every line from that movie.
Sick. Haha. When i saw the winner flair I was hoping that mention u loved tht movie

So two things, did you follow aggressive inline at all? My cousin, from sparta, was one of the original team Rollerblade. So I grew up lovvving skating. And the haters that call it fruitbooting can fuck off lol

Second, if u know every line, there's one line (or word) that has haunted me for yeaaaars.

I think it's was a Spanish speaking dude. I can't recall exactly where it happens. I think he comes down the steps maybe before the high ramp. Or in a parking garage.he gets sort if pinned against a wall and fall a couple seconds behind the guys that checked him. Andhe says what sounds like "ooom bustle!!"

Any idea?

That is the soul grind that also looks cool as hell. I used to love that move on sidewalks all waxed up lol.
I couldn't think of it!! Yeh soul grind. That was my main move. Sometimes I'd do the one where you jump in facING sideway's with both skates. But always with back skate wheels angling backwards. I never had the guts to angle them forward to do a 'royale' iirc

Solid performance and Jack Black is a great singer.
Black has a good voice. He did a good job with this even though he was clowning around.

Fallon looks like he knows how to play the guitar - but I don't think he was playing during this recording. He's fingering the correct chords for the most part but his plucking is off.

I love Extreme. Not so much this song, but they have some good ones out there if you don't know them for anything other than this hit (And their other one, Get The Funk Out)

This is from their first album. Always liked this song.

And many people don't know that the song in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure when they were going nuts in the mall is an Extreme song - also from their first album. It's called Play With Me:

Basically their first 2 albums are pretty solid. Their 1989 debut was self titled (Extreme) and their second album was Pornograffiti (1990). Solid. Didn't care much for Extreme III - and honestly haven't listened to anything after that.

Pornagraphiti was a solid record. I think I was 11-12 when it came out. Regardless whether Fallow was playing or not he is fairly talented. Jack Black is always pissing around I don't think he can take anything seriously. He has quite the range though.

EXTREME's NUNO BETTENCOURT On JIMMY FALLON And JACK BLACK's Recreation Of 'More Than Words': 'It Was Pretty Funny'

Brazil's Wikimetal podcast recently conducted an interview with guitarist Nuno Bettencourt of Massachusetts hard rockers EXTREME. You can now listen to the chat using the audio player below.

Asked what he thought of Jimmy Fallonand TENACIOUS D frontman Jack Blackteaming up for an impressively accurate shot-for-shot recreation of EXTREME's "More Than Words" music video for an episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", Nuno said: "It was pretty funny. It was actually a surprise, because we didnt know. Nobody told us that Jimmy… Nobody called us and said, 'Hey, we're doing this video.' So I was on the West Coast and, obviously, it came out on the East Coast first, and I had a few friends calling me saying, 'Hey, are you watching?' I didn't know what they were talking about. So they were sending me little clips, taking pictures of the TV and recording it off the TV and sending it. It was kind of confusing. It was crazy, 'cause I had no idea. But it was pretty funny."

He continued: "It was done in good taste. They weren't making fun of it. I think they were being very respectful. Listen, when a guy puts on a wig and paints his nails and acts like you and everything, it's very flattering."

During an appearance on the May 11 edition of Eddie Trunk's SiriusXMsatellite radio show, "Eddie Trunk Live", EXTREME vocalist Gary Cherone spoke about the band's plans to write and record the follow-up to 2008's "Saudades de Rock". He said: "Right now, we're all feeling the pressure of putting out something new. [Celebrating the 25th anniversary of EXTREME's 1990 album] 'Pornograffitti' is great. We're enjoying it. We're playing to new audiences the past couple of years. We're hitting Russia for the first time and China. We're going to South America in June for the first time in 23 years. So all that's great. But for me, and Nuno and the guys, we're writing, we're doing demos… Now it's like… Now we've gotta get… Let's get busy. Let's get some new music out."

He continued: "We're writing and demoing now, and, obviously, this summer, you take advantage of the touring season with the festivals… It's about all of us getting in a room together to record, and that's the fall. We'll find time to do it. But we'll be ready; the songs will be there."

EXTREME's first studio album in thirteen years, "Saudades de Rock" (pronounced "sow-dodge") was released in the U.S. on August 12, 2008 on Open E Records and distributed by Fontana. The European version of the CD, which came out on August 1, 2008, included a bonus track, the "Americocaine" demo from 1985, the very first studio recording of EXTREME.

EXTREME's "Take Us Alive" live CD and DVD came out on May 4, 2010 in the U.S. via Frontiers Records. This performance was recorded on the last night of their tour at the House of Blues on August 8, 2009 in EXTREME's hometown of Boston.
