Yes definitely breaking down by mocking pizzagate
So you were comparing actual investigations by intelligence services to a 4chan conspiracy which evolved from a couple of people reading what they want to believe from a couple of emails? That's almost as bad, I think.

I thought you were doing a bit of good ole whataboutism.

Not so much.
Mocking the act of a predefined end state and making any facts work through that filter.

I have been weakened with Freeloading Rusty @MC Gusto invading with real news.

I will lay it on thicker next time!!

You mean the intelligent services that consistently say that there is no evidence of Trump collusion with Russia?

The same intelligence services that were apparently monitoring Candidate Trump and his cohorts including "incidental" unmasking for over a year and still have no evidence of Trump acting as said implied Manchurian Candidate?

And each time I point that out, I get told "yet!" ?

Both Hillary and Putin seemed to support Trump's candidacy in secret. I'm sure I could find many others as well...

Trump as a Russian colluder is a predefined blogosphere end point born out of podesta leaked emails in the absence of Trump leaked emails.

Since then, everything that can politicized through that lens has been...With a startling level of anti-climax.

Any day now Trump will swear allegiance to his Russian masters....And comet ping pongs basement will be opened!

Trump, the man, but there is considerable evidence that a large number of people around him had significant dealings with Russia.
And each time I point that out, I get told "yet!" ?
Yet, they haven't concluded their investigations. Trump could very well be totally innocent, however, it seems like the people around him are not. It's very possible that he was manipulated without his knowledge.

Both Hillary and Putin seemed to support Trump's candidacy in secret. I'm sure I could find many others as well...
I think we both agree that Hillary ran a terrible campaign. Her and the DNC throwing their support behind Trump, while torpedoing Bernie, backfired on the democrats hilariously.
Trump as a Russian colluder is a predefined blogosphere end point born out of podesta leaked emails in the absence of Trump leaked emails.
Trump possibly colluding with Russia is definitely born out of it because of how many connections his associates have to Russia. It's also something the U.S. intelligence services have done to Russia in the past with Boris Yeltsin in the 96 election there. The U.S. and CIA threw their backing behind him to ensure the communist party didn't win the election. So they know what to look for.
Any day now Trump will swear allegiance to his Russian masters....And comet ping pongs basement will be opened!
I think it's much more likely that if Russia did collude, or even just threw their backing behind Trump without his knowledge, that Russia will slowly reveal the details of it to create as big a divide over this issue as possible. Probably not definite proof, but enough smoke to strongly imply it - as their goal is to destabilize the west. Whether the CIA/FBI can find more than that, I don't know.

I don't doubt that for a second.
That is the difference in the reality and the above supposition I'm referencing.

There is zero doubt Russia hoped for Trump's win. Hillary called for essentially a proxy war with them and Hillary looked to continue the Obama era increasingly anti Russian tone. I expect they spied on all possible. I suspect they attempted to bribe and spy on people in every administration.

This all loses traction when Candidate Trump has been saying the same things for 30 years. There's little no change in his world view or foreign policy goals. There's simply a guy that agrees, like even many libertarians, that we have failed and been hypocritical in our approach to international nation building and chastising the internal affairs of other countries. Russia likes that for their own reasons of course, but of what level did Trump get a Russian support? No transfer of wealth to him. No sudden political help. Only harm for the association.

The only leaks that came out helping Trump were the WikiLeaks stuff that may or may not have been Russia. Wiki says no. Some neutral diplomats say no. But let's still give that one anyway....That's still not collusion.

Stuff like Rex Tillerson did Russia deals?!? No shit. Russia is of major interest to Exxon. I would expect him to. But only if one assumes collusion first could you be that paranoid of an oil executive having relationships with one of the largest oil and natural gas exporters in the world.

No transfer of wealth to him.
Trump flipped property to Russians at a big mark up. It can be argued that that is funnelling money to someone in the U.S., since it was well above market value. He also hasn't released his tax returns to really let people see where his money is coming from. His son has gone on record saying that a lot of their money comes from Russia. Here are the quotes.

“Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets,” Trump’s son told a real estate conference in 2008, according to an account posted on the website of eTurboNews, a trade publication. “We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”

Trump Jr. noted that he traveled to Russia six times in 18 months, and “several buyers have been attracted to our projects there and everything associated therewith.” But he added: “As much as we want to take our business over there, Russia is just a different world…. It is a question of who knows who, whose brother is paying off who…. It really is a scary place.”
The only leaks that came out helping Trump were the WikiLeaks stuff that may or may not have been Russia. Wiki says no. Some neutral diplomats say no. But let's still give that one anyway....That's still not collusion.
I thought the hack was pretty much confirmed now, through Podesta opening a a dodgy email. Wikileaks clearly have an axe to grind with the U.S. these days, for some legitimate reasons, but it does also seem like they have hitched their wagon to someone just as bad.

Stuff like Rex Tillerson did Russia deals?!? No shit. Russia is of major interest to Exxon. I would expect him to. But only if one assumes collusion first could you be that paranoid of an oil executive having relationships with one of the largest oil and natural gas exporters in the world.
Rex Tillerson is only one of the people and the least suspicious, and you know it. Paul Manafort is a big red flag, this carter page thing, Betsy Devos' brother setting up clandestine meetings, Flynn lying on oath, Sessions recusing himself because he also lied under oath. The lists goes on. Any one thing would not really raise too many eyebrows, it's when they are all put together that it paints a pretty unflattering picture.

As I've said, there is no direct evidence of collusion, but there is a lot of smoke and that's why they are investigating. Trump and team are trying to deflect as much as possible claiming Obama wiretapped them, which is a lie, and now are going after how the names of Trump surrogates meeting with Russians got leaked when they met with Russians. The second one is a legitimate concern, but it doesn't erase that the meetings took place, or prove Trump's lie. Deflecting doesn't look good in my opinion.

Anyone who brings up pizzagate is clearly drunk.

Gotcha. Hilary Bigfoot.

I don't blame her for hiding out in the woods, that loss must have been humiliating.

Former National Security Adviser Rice denies wrongdoing, political motives, schemes
“The allegation is that somehow Obama administration officials utilized intelligence for political purposes,” she said in an interview on MSNBC. “That is absolutely false.”
Mainstream media deems Rice unmasking bombshell ‘another fake scandal’
“There’s no evidence of any wrongdoing,” Mr. Cuomo said Tuesday on “New Day.” “And in fact, if anything, the NSA asking for identities was a reflection of exactly how much traffic there was involving Trump people and foreign players. The White House [is] blasting the press for another fake scandal being peddled by right-wing media.”
