Why the hell would I ever go to that cesspool? There are only a few places I can see myself in my lifetime. Portland, Sanibel Island, Denver, Ft. Collins, Seattle. The rest is just driving. Fuck New York. Even though I think less of Europe than I do NY, I would like to spend a week pike fishing in Ireland.

If you had Omaha to that list, it's pretty much a list of places that suck. Don't know what you're avoiding by skipping NYC...maybe the smell of hobo urine? But if you go to Seattle or PDX in the summer, you get plenty of that.

Fort Collins is actually decent. I liked going there on the weekends to get stuff.

nice place to go for a weekend. Wouldn't live there. Same is true of the other cities on my list.

Except Omaha. No reason to go there ever, not even for a weekend.

people loved living there.. If it was in Wyoming, not colorado, I'd have moved to FC.

I wouldn't mind Omaha if I had doppler radar on my jeep instead of the railgun. Life is full of tough choices. But I can still just use the Weather Channel app for radar info as I continue my pursuit of catching a tornado on video while drinking a stiff svedka and sprite out of a 24 Oz insulated water battle that has the American flag motif.
