Why? Because the large majority have proven to be short sighted, with an "I cant afford not to fight" mentality. And THAT is exactly why this shit is never going to get fixed.

Anderson, GSP, Hunt, Iaquinta, Dillashaw, Velasquez, Werdum. There's 6 fighters right there with enough clout and enough connections to call the roster together, and try to organize a temporary work stoppage with the help of someone like Jeff Borris - while they work to form an association.

But they wont do it, and the UFC knows they won't do it.

So bottom line...shut the fuck up, take what the UFC gives you, and fight out your contracts if you want to leave.
