Lampasas, TX - The Lampasas County Sheriff's Office released new dashcam video of an arrest involving a deputy repeatedly punching a teenager in the face on May 25. Deputy Logan Lones was placed on administrative leave after the incident, which was posted to Twitter by one of the passengers in the vehicle.

He should very clearly be fired. Can't have a guy like that in a position of authority with a gun. And also for having such weak G'n'P that some preppy starts mocking him while he's hitting him.

That alone is fucking downright embarrassing and sad.
He should resign and contact the FBI to see if they can take him and put him in witness protection - change his name, re-home him, never see any of his family and friends etc.....I would openly mock him if he lived near me.

Weak officers. The other cops should be fired for being spineless and allowing that to happen. The cop with the weak gnp deserves to be prosecuted to the fullest extent.

He was within his rights to effect cuffing the kid, and when the kid pulled away, was likely justified in the takedown, but the punches from mount are so far removed from what is necessary to cuff this kid it's quite sad. This kid will likely get enough settlement money to upgrade mustangs.

The only way that behavior stops is if the officer is not only fired, but prosecuted and imprisoned.
