That is insane.
I'd love to see the math on how far he would have missed if the barrel moved as little as 1/128th of an inch before pulling the trigger.

I'm more impressed with shots like the one made by Sgt James Gilliland, a 1300 yd shot with a 7.62 at a target visible from the waist up in a window.
Oh, and the target is an enemy sniper that just killed your good friend, and you've got a single cold shot to make it happen.

the shot was with a 338 Lapua. (but probably only slightly less...700')

It's like a yard but a little bit longer for some stupid commie reason.
According to anything I've read thus far that shot was taken with a McMillan TAC-50.
doh - you're right. All thought all things Her Majesty were shooting 338s.
I know they have some of the PGW .338's but I digress. Chalk up another win for JMB.
