This is the same shit as floyd saying he would fight in the octagon, and the same as conor saying he is going to win the fight. It's just to hype the ppv buys. Conor loves money more than anything, so he sure as fuck wouldn't bet a dime of his money (especially after ufc is taking half of it) on the outcome of this fight.
When you know there is no possible way someone can beat you and know that after fight night your opponent might need to go into hiding out of embarrassment, how can you get shaken?
