this just shows the sad state of HW fighting. this fight is ridiculous but at the same time there is no logical match up that's being passed over. Rico's last fight was another non-title supposed mismatch against Ismael Lazaar and before that it was a non-title fight against Badr Hari and before that it was a second win against Benjamin Adegbuyi who is one of the top contenders and already lost decisively to Rico twice and the other top contender is Guto Inocente who is awful and would be another mismatch.

well Coker is responsible for some of the most horrible squash matches in recent history and put guys in there that never should've been allowed in a cage. So yeah it wouldn't surprise me if Coker had played some part in making this fight.

His connections to Glory were strictly co-promotion for Dynamite, and their own brand now takes that mantle.
And his connections in the industry are only aligned with the contract at that moment within the interests of that respective event.

Fun fight, I'll watch. I don't get all the "oh my god what are these fighters doing fighting in different sports" like it has not been done before. Back in Pride fighters used to move from mma to K1 and vice versa all the time. Do you think this is any more dangerous than fighting Overeem or Hunt?
