I agree that strict guidelines should be put in place in regards to defending the titles.

whats funnyi s people think Also pulled out of the Calgary card too. but he was never booked on the card, it was all rumors etc. no fight contracts signed for UFC Calgary. that is straight from the BLAF's mouth when I wanted a refund for UFC Calgary.

two of his opponents had injuries postponing their fights which makes it look even worse.

You cannot strip him of the title. If Zuffa(more-so Dana) did it would be completely out of spite. You look how long other champions have been off for being hurt and not stripped. Aldo injured a rib, shit happens.

Zuffa needs to set a policy for their champions regarding a time frame on defending the title. Keep in mind they (Zuffa) is part of the problem by often giving champions far to much time off in between fights. All champions (IMO) should defend at least twice a yr. They need to set a certain amount of times a champion can pull out of a fight before being stripped.

What would people say if Conor had been the one to pull out due to injury? Let me also add Contenders should be dropped down the rankings if they pull out of a title fight. Hold all fighters accountable.


There will never be a perfect policy but as a company Zuffa needs to set one before stripping fighters.

There is actually a quite common theory that the most outspoken critics are plants of the very agencies they criticize. This is because they often make the most outlandish claims, spew virtiol, and make the cause seem ridiculous. Yet, because they are so outspoken they attract the most attention and often get labelled as leaders of that cause, which hurts the cause because the very agencies can point to the outlandish vitriol they spew to discredit the more educated claims of others within that movement or group. I am pretty sure there is a type of name for this in propaganda, but I can't remember it right now.
