He keeps calling tax cuts for his millionaire buddies "tax reform".
Trump's current tax plan does not offset the proposed tax cuts. The reds bar show what would happen if every every household equally shares the load of balancing that budget.

Not sure if there have been any changes since last time I checked it out a couple of months ago, but if not then if a person files as head of household, makes between $127K to $200K, has kids, and uses itemized deductions there is a good chance their after-tax income will be lower.

Trump Appointee Resigns After CNN Connects Him To Inflammatory Online Comments

CNN reports thatWilliam C. Bradford, former appointee to head of the Energy Department's Office of Indian Energy, has resigned from his post after CNN's KFILE connected him to comments made online calling President Obama's mother a "whore." Previously, Bradford insisted the comments were the result of a cyberattack against him. In June, The Washington Post found tweets by Bradford calling President Obama a "Kenyan." In 2015, Bradford resigned from a professorship at West Point after publishing a paper arguing that the US should target Islamic holy sites.

Special Investigator Mueller Works With IRS In Trump Investigation

The Daily Beast reports that special investigator Robert Mueller is working with the IRS' highly specialized criminal investigations unit to look into the financials of Trump campaign employees. The unit obviously has access to Trump's long-sought tax returns. The IRS also has access to forms where employees could disclose foreign money (or neglect to disclose it). Failure to disclose such funds could be a felony, and it's suspected that Paul Manafort among others may be hiding foreign funds.

Trump To Package Debt Ceiling Increase With Disaster Funding

Bloomberg reports that President Trump is planning to package an ask for $5.5 billion in FEMA funding for Harvey relief with a plan to raise the debt ceiling — a measure that would prevent an unprecedented default. The move would facilitate Harvey relief while also decoupling the necessary debt-ceiling increase from the upcoming fight over funding the border wall, which is sure to be contentious.

Treasury Secretary Mnuchin Sidelines Harriet Tubman For $20 Bill

Last year, a movement grew around the idea of replacing slaveholder Andrew Jackson with Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill, eventually resulting in an endorsement by the Obama administration. When asked about the progress with the change, Trump's Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchintold CNBC "People have been on the bills for a long period of time. And this is something we will consider. Right now, we've got a lot more important issues to focus on." Previously, Trump called the idea "political correctness."

Justice Department: No evidence Trump Tower was wiretapped - CNNPolitics
(CNN)The Justice Department said in a court filing Friday evening that it has no evidence to support President Donald Trump's assertion in March that his predecessor, Barack Obama, wiretapped the phones in Trump Tower before last year's election.

"Both FBI and NSD confirm that they have no records related to wiretaps as described by the March 4, 2017 tweets," the department's motion reads. NSD refers to the department's national security division.
The motion came in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by a group pushing for government transparency, American Oversight.

Even Trump’s Longtime Bodyguard Is Leaving Him

Keith Schiller has been working by President Donald Trump’s side for almost two decades. But it looks like the longtime personal aide who worked for years as Trump’s bodyguard and is now head of Oval Office operations won’t even last one year at the White House. Schiller has told people close to him that he will be leaving the White House at the end of September.

Schiller, however, doesn’t seem to be leaving for any political reasons, but for something Trump can likely appreciate: more money. Even though Schiller, a former New York City police detective, earns an annual salary of $165,000, that is a decrease from the $294,000 he was earning before the White Hou

Trump has decided to end DACA, with 6-month delay
President Donald Trump has decided to end the Obama-era program that grants work permits to undocumented immigrants who arrived in the country as children, according to two sources familiar with his thinking. Senior White House aides huddled Sunday afternoon to discuss the rollout of a decision likely to ignite a political firestorm — and fulfill one of the president’s core campaign promises.

The administration’s deliberations on the issue have been fluid and fast moving, and the president has faced strong warnings from members of his own party not to scrap the program.

Didn't he "promise" not to do anything to jeopardize their status?
Why yes:
Donald Trump promises 'dreamers' will not be deportation targets

'Promises kept'....

Texas DACA Recipient Dies Rescuing Flood Victims
The body of a volunteer rescuer in Houston who went missing last week while trying to save flood victims was recovered on Sunday. Alonso Guillen, a 31-year-old disc jockey and recipient of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, is thought to have drowned after a boat he and his friends were using for rescue operations capsized last Wednesday.

The Rollback of Pro-Worker Policies Since Trump Took Office Is Staggering
The rollback of labor rights and protections since Trump took office is staggering. It puts worker safety at risk and guarantees that many workers will earn less, but that’s not all. Measures to help victims of discrimination receive redress are on the scrap heap. Unions are running scared. “It’s a death by a thousand cuts,” explains Heidi Shierholz, a senior economist at the Economic Policy Institute.
Donald Trump Still Doesn’t Want Us to Think He Has Small Hands
The size of Donald Trump’s hands and the digits that comprise them, have been a point of contention for the president for years—since at least the 1980s when Spymagazine (and future Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter) took to referring to him as a “short-fingered vulgarian”. (Read much more about the genesis of the nickname here.) Throughout the election, that sobriquet gave way to a general sense that the candidate’s whole hands were smaller than average, inspiring many, many late-night punchlines and novelty gift items.

In 2016, the man who is now president was on something of a crusade to beat back such gags. In a Washington Post interview, Trump wouldn’t stop bringing up how big his hands are, calling them “normal,” a “good size,” “great,” and “slightly large, actually.” He even went so far as to defend the size of his hands, and by proxy, his reproductive organ, at a nationally televised Republican debate that same month.

We hadn’t, though, heard much on that front in recent months. Perhaps Trump, busy as he is with the policy and the process of leading the executive branch, had bigger things on his mind: natural disaster recovery or the threat of intercontinental nuclear war, maybe. Not entirely! While at a relief shelter in Houston over the weekend, where he helped serve meals to families affected by Hurricane Harvey, the president couldn’t resist an opportunity to demonstrate the girth of his paws.

“My hands are too big!” he said as he attempted to put on a pair of latex gloves.

In response to Trump tweet, Mexico reiterates it won't pay for the wall
The Mexican government on Sunday again stressed its position that it will not pay for President Donald Trump's proposed border wall.

Trump tweeted Sunday morning: "With Mexico being one of the highest crime Nations in the world, we must have THE WALL. Mexico will pay for it through reimbursement/other."

In response, the country's foreign ministry released a statement saying Mexico would not pay for a wall or other physical barrier at the border "under any circumstances."

"This determination is not part of a Mexican negotiating strategy, but a principle of national sovereignty and dignity," the statement said.

He needs to stop saying that Mexico will pay for the wall
A better approach would be "The wall will pay for itself with a reduction in crime, drug trafficking and border patrol expenses."

I don't really care if it gets built or not, but repeatedly saying that Mexico will pay for it only to have Mexico say "Not gonna happen, bro" is just silly.
I agree claiming Mexico will pay for the wall makes the administration look silly.

I am not so sure about a wall worth billions will pay for itself through a reduction in crime and boarder patrol expenses.

Billions of dollars is a lot of money to recuperate. How many years do people think it will take for the 'wall' to recuperate its costs of building and ongoing maintenance?

Do you think they will reduce boarder patrols if the wall gets built?

Trump has back-tracked on his initial claims of a 'big beautiful physical wall' and now talks about a partial wall utilizing a mix of human and surveillance technology. Someone needs to still patrol and man the feed those cameras/sensors/and so on will be providing. Someone needs to be able to respond immediately.

America has already seen a large reduction in illegal boarder crossings since Trump took power, correct?

Has America also experienced a drop in crime rates & drug offenses since Trump took power. Are those two observations correlated with each other?

I have no idea if it would be a true statement or not. I'm just saying it would be a smarter approach.
