I had it 48-47 Nunes but thought it could have been 48-47 Schevchenko, or even a draw.

48-47 Schev..Nunes won round 1 and 5.. was clearly outstruck.. her polar opposite gaethje wannabe kicks were her best weapon along with those "Range finders"

You give nunes round 5? Tell me it isn't based off the takedown since shev landed all the punches and elbows once they were down.

I had it nunes winning 1, then all the other rounds going to shev. Round 2 was close and I could see it going to nunes even though I think shev won it.

I didn't know who won. The only round that was clear in my mind was the first. Rounds 2-4 were guesswork. 5 was a weird round to score, depends on your personal criteria, I leaned to nunes.

Schevckenko deserved the loss by giving away the first round. Nunes has cardio issues so I don't get the strategy of standing there doing squat all round. Can't give away 20% of the fight.

Nunes should have had a point deducted for extending her fingers every round even after receiving multiple warnings.

I think it came down to the 3rd round. You could be right that Shevchenko won it, but I thought Nunes took it at the time

Judge Sal D’Amato gave UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes rounds 1, 3 and 5 en route to a 48-47 score for Nunes, while judge David Therjen gave Nunes rounds 1, 2 and 5 also for a 48-47 score for Nunes.

Judge Tony Weeks gave Valentina Shevchenko rounds 2, 3, and 5 en route to a 48-47 score for the challenger.

First two scorecards are reasonable, but I'm not sure what that last judge was watching him the second round. Nunes maybe landed like five punches

i feel like the champion usually wins when its that close. it could have gone either way in my opinion but if you want to win a belt don't leave it up to the judges.

While I didn't actually see the fight I'd be all for reversing the decision and awarding the fight to the Russian.

schevchenko won imo but the way she fights is much like machida used to do.. too much counter striking.. she has to be the bull a bit more

So the only thing those three agreed on was R1? Something odd about that, I didn't see the fight, was it really that open to interpretation?

I think that does cause some judges to lean to the side of the champion for sure.

I think most people agree
RD1 Nunes
RD2 Shev
RD3 close but Shev
RD4 Shev
RD5 close most people had Nunes because of a takedown which is sad.

So 1,2,4 were clear imo.

it was open to the interpretation of judges who are constantly willing to give rounds to a fighter that doesn't land a single clean strike the whole round.

IMO it was Shevchenko 48-47/49-46. she landed one or two clean punches while Nunes landed none.
