Why you pick PK? Not a bad choice at all just curious? So i'm thinking that i will head to powder king this winter. from their trail map it looks like they've got some legit glades/tree areas.
Any hot tips for the mountain??
K @Kaladin Stormblessed I bought some new boots the other day, Ride Lasso. I've always used the traditional lace up system but after trying on some speed laces and Boas I went with these.
Lasso - RIDE Snowboards | RIDE Snowboards 2017-18
Steal of a price too at 40% as they were over stock from last season. Note there's 2 knobs to tighten down the laces. Top of boot one does from ankle up as expected anf the one on the side sucks your heel to the back of the boot. They are a 6/10 for stiffness. I may hit the park here and there but mostly I like to ride steep an deep shit, go in the trees once and a while too. Where you riding this season?
Whats a cacao?Thats sick. I've been using my same boots since like 2001.lol. lacing boots is one of the most annoying things ever. Hurts my hands trying to pull them tigjt
I only ever really ride mountain creek and camelback since they are the two closest. I'm a home body
One of these years I'm gonna splurge and ride a real mountain. I haven't had a cacao since 2010. I'm over due!
Cacao is my way of saying vacation (not really, I just can't type)Whats a cacao?
Ya the boots I just sold were from 200 lol. A really soft pair of DC Cougars that were cool at tfirst but far too flimsy for my riding style now.
I'd be happy to host you here in BC any time buddy. We finally stepped up and rented a quiant little cabin on the mountain 3 out of every 4 weeks up at Apex resort.

Not the biggest mtn around but it's awesome. TOns of snow, steep all over and is relatively dead compared to the other 2 near by. This season I'm planning to shake of the same old riding stale and really hit that next level. The last 2 season sI've been skiing to help my two kids get up and going but they're at a point now where I can get back on my board and not have to follow them around as much. Plus the lesson we put them in are now 5 hours every saturday once season starts. I need to get beter so I can stay ahead of them for as long as possible. Those little fuckers have no sense of danger once they find their confidence.
lol at 200. Heres the boots in question...Cacao is my way of saying vacation (not really, I just can't type)
What is 200? Are you 1800 years old?? Doo doO chhh
As far as traveling, I need another year getting my "business" up to speed. "Working" 7 days a week rigjt now. Haven't even seen my family once in 2017 and they live avout 30 MI utes away
Maye winter 19/20 tho (and hopefully by then I'd have fixed my shoulder and wired it out so I'm less nervous to hit the slopes)
For sure. I'm definitely tying to expand into the vlog realm eventually (not like tje one I did t the other day)lol at 200. Heres the boots in question...
Well get well and shit then head north. We can youtube our travles and hot tub time to get you some more followers.
Ummmmm.yesAlright, who here loves the sight of snow and is already looking forward to riding this season?

I've snowboarded since highschool and currently ride a Rome Anthem 163 with Technine bindings. I didn't ride it once last year as I wanted to give skiing a try. The skis are just mid level Völkl around 170 I think, had a blast on them. This year I'll be doing a bit of both depending on conditions I think.
Other mountains within two hours are

Looking forward to a great season!

Can rarely go wrong with a full Burton set up. If it gets you out riding then both are good choices.Looking at purchasing a snowboard. I used to snowboard a while ago but out grew the board/boots and my skis still fit so here we are.
On kijiji there is a 5150 board with Sims bindings (not sure of model) and a Burton with Burton bindings (not sure of model) both are 1 year old and $150.
which would you go for?
5150
Burton
