Don't get too hyped- Tokov has been out for awhile. Salter is still fighting, but not against anyone in Tokov' s level.
Yeah, I know, it sucks, but I am excited to see Radcliff fight Salter. Radcilff is a good prospect, and I hope he wins. Patricio being out till February, can possibly set up a mega event on that month.

I'm terribly against the senior's division that Bellator has going on but this is a card where they could have really benefitted from it. Just start putting one senior's fight on each card in the co main spot. They could bring some edits extra pop to the sad events and if the main falls out, to the casuals, they haven't lost anything and may end up seeing some of the solid up and comers on the card.

The UFC is just as senior, if not more so

We're not talking about them here.

Stop deflecting.

We're talking about Bellator.

You must watch/read a lot about politics. That's the go to move these days.

And if we're going to get into it, there's a big difference in my eyes in keeping guys as they get older and signing old guys on losing streaks to use as a centerpiece for a promotion.

I don't want to see almost any of the old guys fighting anymore. It's not interesting to me. Mostly sad to see these guys who were my MMA heroes being put to death by nobodies in many cases.

Anderson Silva is my favorite fighter of all time and I'm hoping that he gets a big suspension that ultimately forces retirement because I'd rather remember his matrix moments than looking average at best against Brunson.

Seeing Fedor get mauled by Maldonado was insanely depressing.

I don't care who it is promoting it, i don't want to see it.

But if you're going to run a promotion that's enough of a joke to have a heavyweight tourney consisting of washed up old fighters and 205ers then you deserve criticism.

And at least use those corpses to put some shine on events where you have some young talent that need and deserve attention but won't get anyone to watch because it's on a Thursday and has zero name recognition.

By the way, I'm in a shit mood. The hospital I was just working at has delayed me by 2 hours and broken a $5,000 scope that I needed for a good account today.

Sorry about your shorty day and hope it gets better.

I bring them up not to deflect, it just drives me crazy how Bellator caught that perception, but the UFC is free of it even though they're just as guilty.

Name all the old guys on losing streaks that Bellator picked up.

Chael, Rampage, Mir, Nelson, Mittrione (who I like and isn't in as bad of shape as some his age), they've brought Shamrock back, Kimbo, Royce, Tito, Wandy...

Streak may have been a strong word but they all went out on losses or at best snuck in one win after a string of ugly.
Even Kongo was already 38 or 39 when he went to Bellator and that was the old regime.

I'll give you some of those, though Wand is the only one from that last 5 that's still active. Mitrione had a loss his last UFC fight, but was 3-2 in his last 5.

Nelson, Mir, Sonnen, and Rampage are necessary evils. If they headline a card right now with Tyrell Fortune or Justin Wren, no one tunes in. But headline with Frank Mir vs Fedor, ratings go up and maybe you stick Fortune or Wren in the co-main slot and get people talking.

I'm not a marketing guru by any means but i don't want those guys as the main event. Co main is good. With main there's a good chance that people will strictly tune in late to catch that fight.

If you stick it in the middle of the main card there's a chance people will either tune in early and see some other young cats or they'll stick around to see who in the hell is main eventing over Sonnen and then discover that Ruth, Fortune, even one of the Pitbull brothers are bad ass fighters.

Once again, I'm against it. But if you're going to dance with the devil you should try to tango like a motherfucker with him.

Because Israel shuts down almost completely from sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday for Shabbat.
I saw that it was in Israel when we got closer, totally would've edited that.
