With friends and family?

If so, large groups? Small groups? Or do you prefer alone?

I've generally been finding for years now that I prefer to watch the events with a very small group, 1-2 people max. Otherwise, I just prefer to watch the fights by myself and generally do most of the time as none of my friends or family are real fans.

The saying "two is company, three is a crowd" definitely holds alot of weight when watching something like live sports.

MMA especially, so much can happen in the blink of an eye.

The more mouths there are in a room, the more likely someone will open theirs and distract me from fully enjoying an event.

I much prefer posting on here in between rounds than having a bunch of loud mouths around, distracting me from the fights. I can't put them on mute and I can read this site whenever I choose.

If going to the event, group for sure

If watching on tv, alone or if anybody else is coming they better know their shit
I hate having to explain stuff and then missing a finish

With my finger up my ass.

Alone or with a bunch of people, doesn’t matter.

I don't mind explaining a bit, as long as I don't have to explain everything.

It's not like I know everything, but as long as people aren't asking questions every second.

I can see wanting to go with a group if you're going to an event, or out to a bar. Generally though, I find I have a better experience when I watch from the comfort of home, on my own TV, with my own beer and food.

Going to a bar or to an actual event would probably ruin it for me.

Lame card, watch for free with volume down and Rogan podcast on and Tmmac open.

Good card, watch for free with few that knows their shit. Occasional check in on Tmmac.

Great card, I’ll pay or go somewhere and ppl needs to stfu unless between rnds and knows their shit.
I’ll come home and read entire “discussion” thread for funny comments and throw my 2cents in.

I watched by myself for years and years because none of my friends gave a shit about the sport. Then I happened to move next to a couple guys who are huge fans so we usually get together at my place or theirs to watch. Maybe hit the bar for a big PPV. Can't say I prefer one way over another.

I always download and watch later, generally by myself.
I DL so I can jump past all the filler, promos, and especially past the 4th rate carny barker Buffer and his shit. I also DL so I can Alt-back arrow as many times as I need to figure out wtf just happened.

It`s a tough decision with different factors involved.Who I`m with, who is on the card, and disposable income. My interest is declining at a rapid rate so,now I prefer to watch with educated fans,in a party atmosphere with good food that has commentary & more replays on a massive HDTV.

After 24 years...it just doesn`t have the same appeal or excitement factor to justify the costs for a live event, like it did at the beginning.

With a few people that actually know what they are talking about, in front of a nice big screen, HD resolution, with good food and snacks. But not at a restaurant/bar where you can’t hear anything the commentators say

But I usually just stream it alone

Back in the day is was with a couple buddies and a VHS or DVD (90's thru early 2000s). A few buddies and I use to go to every event and watch at a bar with big screens (probably around 2004-2012ish), and for some of the big events a buddy used to host at his house.

For the last few years I mostly watch at home. Sometimes a buddy or two will join, but most often it is just me and the wife. I'm pretty content with that. It's a lot more mellow watching at home.

I've gone to bars with some friends for a lot of cards in my younger years. Now getting everyone together is like herding cats so those who can show up to a house & we buy the PPV.

Getting casual fans to watch Bellator is tough but many are coming around.

agree completely, I usually have money on the fights & can't stand hearing my friends' stupid ass opinions. I like to hear the commentary too, even with all the BS they say. sometimes it's very annoying, like when rogan creams his pants saying "OMG FIGHTER X GOT UNDERHOOKS, OMG FIGHTER Y REVERSED IT & NOW HE'S GOT UNDERHOOKS" & ten seconds after that big john breaks the fighters for inactivity. still like to hear it though

Alone. I am the only person out of everyone I know who likes MMA, I got friends that will watch a fight if its on, but they wouldn't go out of the way to watch it.

Of course it doesn't help that the main card starts at 3am.

By myself.

Time difference means I record everything. Wife and daughter suck up majority of time and do not watch fights in front of daughter for obvious reasons.

When I get time to watch it’s around a 2 hour window at whatever opening in can get.

I more or less do the same since I had my daughter. I used to stop up to watch cards, but having to deal with 6 year old when I've no sleep is too much. Sometimes I'll watch the prelims though. I could go to bed early and get up at 3am for the main card, but I'll be damned if I'm going to bed at 8pm on Saturday night

Yeah man, I actually stayed up during the time window of the last couple of events but that was because my daughter and wife were away and you know what, I got so drunk I didn’t watch one fight.

Recording is such a great feature, I will stick to that in the future

Where you live coaster?
