In these morbidly stupid days of political correctness, why is it OK to say this? I was at a bar in Mt. Greenwood with a friend watching the the Eagles/Vikings last night tipping back a few frosty beverages when 2 cops came in and because I am a magnet for police activity, of course they sit right next to me - not to mention I have a shall we say not quite legal knife sticking out of my pocket. Now I'm not eavesdropping, but they're sitting right next to me. Both officers were not Irish, I can assure you of that.

But one was telling the other that he had broken up a public disturbance at a party earlier in the evening, and said 'we took 2 in the car, and the rest got a ride in the Paddy Wagon. What if it was called a n***** box, or a mook mobile, would that still be acceptable to say? Of course it wouldn't. Plus Mt. Greenwood has a large percentage of Irish people. Hell, the southside Irish parade is one of the biggest events of the year here. Now we all know how I feel about the Irish, but I think there is clearly a double standard here about the use of racial terminology.

Kick a ginger day. Make that into an anagram and I'm pink. White people don't get protected status.

What would be the point of kicking someone with no soul? I wouldnt risk scuffing my shoes to kick a ginger.

"I was at a bar in Mt. Greenwood"

No story that starts this way has a happy ending.

You should've started a FB Live session by saying, "That's offensive, officers. The proper term is squadrol. I'm forced to report you to COPA."
