Just read about it after seeing your post. That fucking sucks.

Nole is a fucking beast when he's healthy and, in my opinion, one of the three best tennis players of all time.
100%. Nobody can match his level of focus and commitment. He's definitely more physical than Roger but he has a similar issue to nadal, he's not as smooth and therefore likely to suffer injuries. But I'd take a few injuries to have a bunch of slams

Golden era getting old mate
Rafa has had injury problems for many years. I woke up to watch him retire from an Aussie Open SF match with Murray years ago. Like you said, the hard playing style of players like Rafa and Djoko (and even Murray) leads to more injuries.

This hip thing is new though afaik and I'm hoping it's nothing serious.

Is that slams? A almost untouchable 20 for Roger?
It is, yes. If he wins the Aussie, I agree with you about almost untouchable. It will be a lot harder for Rafa to catch him.

But like my humble Swiss friend reminded me, you never know. Three years ago all the analysts were saying that Roger was old and done and would never win another slam.

Let's see what happens at Roland Garros. The only person that can beat Rafa on clay is himself.

Agreed but at this point that's his main opportunity to catch Roger and the years are running out.

Roger got to win it yet. The challenge still remains
