I don't think the problem with some people that migrate over from Sherdog (or any other forum) is people here 'trying to protect TMMAC'. I think the problem is some new members think personal attacks, toxicity and racism that was allowed on other forums should be (or is) allowed here because that's the way it's always been elsewhere. Or maybe they feel like we're desperate for new members and will just let anything go. Or they feel like they have some kind of point to prove or something. Or maybe some are just shitheads or trolls.
Then you have guys like
@MovinOn (and many others) that came over from other forums, and are great. They treat people well, post great content, etc.
Do we have some pricks here? Sure do. And we also have some members that immediately think the worst of new members because they're protective of the site because they've been here since Day 1 and are invested in the culture and seeing the site grow. To those people, I would say give everyone a chance, and trust that they will either ultimately be weeded out or just leave on their own accord.
