Candida Overgrowth???
I had no idea this kind of ailment existed until now, cuz I have it. Or actually, I don't even know because all the doctors think I'm crazy. Started with a pain and cramp right below the right ribcages, but had it for about a month. I thought it was some kind of stones (kidney, gallbladder, bile-duct), went to the ER and got a blood and urine test, but none. (stupid VA didn't even have Ultra-sound so I got that done week later, but still nothing)

As days passed, symptoms got worse and new symptoms started appearing, the intensity of pain kept rising, so went back to the ER and Doc says, "Don't stress out and get some rest." and gave me a GI appointment a whole month later(VA's always booked, waiting is the name of the game). I do stress out pretty easily and when I do, it does mess with my body's physiology but dayam, I wanted to punch the shit outta that Doc. I just went home, discrouaged, still feeling like shit. Next few days, I notice I'm super loopy every morning. I've minimized my drug use to only-weed and I quit alcohol few years back so I was confused on why I feel like this. One of my friend suggested, maybe it's Candida. I was, "??????" and he explained.

When your gut becomes too alkaline instead of acidic, kills all the good bacteria in your gut and all the bad bacteria thrives, then this Candida, which is a yeast infection that starts to grow. Candida grows when the immune system gets compromised awhile the gut is alkaline, cuz it loses the functions of regulating the bad bacteria. Supposedly, depends where you look but 50 - 70% of the healthy adults carry this.

Symptoms are:
  • Persistent, intense sugar cravings
  • Cravings for processed carbs, such as bread, pasta, and pastries
  • Brain fog
  • Anxiety and/or depression
  • Mood swings and irritability
  • Vaginal yeast infections (itching, swelling, discharge)
  • Poor focus and concentration
  • Developing new food sensitivities/intolerances
  • A white coat on your tongue
  • Digestive issues (gas, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, mucous in stool)
  • Skin issues (acne, eczema, psoriasis)
  • Itchy ears
  • Low libido
  • Unexplained fatigue/exhaustion
  • Skin or nail fungal infections
  • Canker sores
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Worsening of symptoms in cold and damp, or humid environments (two conditions that encourage candida to spread and grow, which can aggravate all existing symptoms)
That's a whole lot of symptoms and symptoms of most other ailments. It says this is very common when people take anti-biotics because not only antibiotic kills the bad microorganisms, but kills all the good bacteria too which makes the gut's PH level, alkaline.

Rewinding to around the fall of 2017, I had a tooth infection, so I was on antibiotics and while I was on the antibiotic, went to Mexico for friend's bachelor party. Went apeshit in Mexico with food, alcohol, and drugs and being my first time in Mexico, I came back with all kinds of sickness, like Vomit, Shits, Chills, Fever, all that good stuff. Then I started to experience almost everything on the list above. The word is that if there's Candida overgrowth when you eat some bread (wheat), you'll feel drunk cuz it's a yeast(fungus) infection in the gut and mixing wheat is like brewing beer in the gut.

Apparently, this fungus won't show on blood tests unless you test the sample in a specific way and won't show on stool or urine because it sticks to your intestine wall. So I did the online spittle test and it indicates I have the Candida overgrowth. But the online test is not accurate at all but given all my circumstances, I believe the highest probability is this Candida overgrowth. I've decided to follow the detox plan, changed all my diet to cut out ALL sugar, gluten, dairy, and most fermented stuff and immediately started feeling better. I use the sauna like I'm trying to make weight, pound water and take a cold shower in between, and try to detox the shit outta my body, and acupuncture twice a week. But I still feel like shit. My mind is not working properly, still have most of the symptoms. Anyone ever experience this or have some knowledge on what may be going on would be a great help.

Thanks and sorry about the long ass write if you actually read this far.

Yep.
And as soon as you search it, you'll get a million ads.
Remember the gut is your other brain.

"If yer feelin a little thrushy, time to do a flushy.

After a few days of flushing, clear of all food, introduce probiotics.
Greek yogurt, oatmeal baths...it's a brave new world.
Research some quality probiotic products brother.

It depends what they are, I'd look into ingredients. Possible the fillers could promote yeast growth.
