He just ruined a guy's life bc of a personal vendetta
Serious question, do you think the OIG was influenced? Why?

Independent of McCabe, if a public official should be fired, should they have an option to jump to their pension before that be firing can be enacted? Are they owed allegiance for previous work to make sure they get "enough time" to get more benefits even after it's determined they should be fired?

Would one need to see the report before making an educated stance on this?
His statement might help:

"The President’s tweets have amplified and exacerbated it all. He called for my firing. He called for me to be stripped of my pension after more than 20 years of service."

Seems that it's ok to leak classified material & lie to the FBI under oath if you don't like the president, & a firing the FBI & IG recommended is now an attempt to discredit the FBI. People aren't even trying to make sense anymore

Everything against McCabe is speculation at this point
Not even close to speculation. Speculation brought us to the start of this, the result was because of finding facts. Flynn lied to FBI about meetings with Russian officials to talk about sanctions which wasn't even illegal except for the fact that he lied.
Now his life is ruined and gets no pension and maybe jail and Mcabe who literally lied multiple times and leaked info is still getting half his pension and no jail. Get your head out of your ass please, thanks lol

There is still due process for McCabe to prove in court that the investigation by the OIG was compromised or unduly influenced by the Executive Branch.

But without further information, it's irresponsible for McCabe to sling accusations and impugn the investigator. And now the system built on rewarding loyalty and protecting malfeasance that benefited McCabe his entire career is going to be working against him.

Sounds a little light on actual justice, but I'll take what I can get.

The only way that can be a true statement is if you believe the oig investigation and recommendation were compromised.

Here's the leader of that investigation:
Washington Braces for an Even Bigger F.B.I. Bombshell

An Obama appointee with a "Sterling reputation" that is a "famously straight shooter".

What makes you think he's compromised?
He isn't looking into anything...he probably has read little on it...and if he doesn't like what he reads, he puts it on ignore

After seeing how former officials have reacted to this news I can't believe Trump would ever think the CIA & FBI were against him

The oig accusation seems to be centered around McCabe misleading reporters at the Wall Street Journal in some regard. Apparently some unauthorized disclosure.

The recommendation to fire Mr. McCabe isn’t coming from Donald Trump or Russian bots. It comes from the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility. News reports say it is based on a finding from the Justice Department’s Inspector General that Mr. McCabe authorized the disclosure of sensitive information to a Wall Street Journal reporter about the investigation into the Clinton Foundation—and then lied about it to IG investigators.
I think there's a good conversation to have about whether it's appropriate to expediently move on firing McCabe to make sure he doesn't have access to a lifetime pension increase.

But I'm still waiting to see some reason to believe that the oig investigation was compromised.

Accusations or not, the timing of this firing was obviously based on vendetta and punishment by petty pres. Especially the calling for it beforehand and spiking the ball after on twitter.
Probably helped Keibler Elf Sessions extend his tenure by 3 more months or so...

Donald Trump’s corrupt firing of Andrew McCabe

That was shortly after the head kick heard round the world.

Just a kick straight to the groin. I don't remember anything else about that match except that kick.
I remember Brock outside the cage screaming at Gabe.
