Just found out about this.

The creator of these hits died on April 20th ...

His songs had a positive vibe, I enjoyed his music and was hoping to see him become a superstar that brought a positive message.

Mike Poser had the hit "I took a pill in Abiza"

In the opening lyrics Poser sings ..

"I took a pill in Abiza to show Avicii I was cool ..."

It may have been suicide.... He'd been sick and dealing with depression for a while. He was a great guy, it really sucks.

By a huge huge margin the greatest DJ set I have EVER seen. Creamfields 2014 if I remember right.

People say that DJ sets are boring unless you are into them, which I really am. But this was one of the most immersive open air music events I have ever seen. A true EDM talent with an eye for the theatrical.

RIP. Poor guy was clearly in a lot of discomfort, lifestyles are a bitch.

Yea he was pretty candid in an interview I read from 2015 or something. Said he is in a constant daze on tour, eats like shit, drinks to stop anxiety (and because it's free for him) said he feels like he will die if he doesn't stop touring. A bit later he announced he was stopping as it wasn't healthy for him and said he is amazed and saddened by the response he got from his management etc despite them knowing how bad a toll it's taking on him.

I know some guys that hit those serotonin receptors too hard and strong for years and it left them chasing the dragon and eventually depressed they could never catch it again.

Them drugs are fun but they really fuck your mind and soul IMO
