Actually, she's kinda both.
I think they are one in the same in this universe.
Thanos probably told her to go snatch up the Tessaract, she was much more greedy being her ex-home and had some fun with it.
Loki grabs it, will give it to Thanos, and Hella ain't dead, so...
Hella is most powerful on Asgard, but still squeezes Mjolnir into exploding with one hand stating, "You have no idea what I'm capable of".

I'm thinking it's 50/50 at this point.
Thanos doesn't dictate to death.

I agree with the thinking that Hela and Thanos' Death are two separate things. Thanos goal (in the comics anyway, hasn't really been explained in the movies yet) is to win Death's love. Death is upset that there are more beings living today then have ever died, to fix this imbalance, Thanos wants to kill off half the universe.

I'm going tomorrow, I'm wondering how long it will take me to fall asleep in the cinema. I'm really looking forward to seeing it but I always fall asleep. It looks awesome.

Saw it this morning, thought it was really good. Thanos was a lot better than I was expecting and I liked the backstory they gave him. I liked how the characters interacted with each other, that was fun. I really wish I hadn't watched so many trailers though, it was too much. I won't watch any for the next one.

Yup. I've decided to stop watching trailers now.

Seeing the Footloose clip before sitting in the cinema and watching it for the first time was a real bummer.

edit: sorry, I meant Guardians

That was absolutely brilliant. Definitely my favourite and it felt like two movies with Guardians being in it too.

I don’t know how to spoiler tag so don’t read below.

I never thought I would be crying watching an Avengers film. Loki getting it within the first 10 minutes then her. I had to leave the cinema when she got it.

I’m pretty certain whoever floated away will be back, otherwise the only Guardian left us Rocket.

Absolutely brilliant, and I stayed awake!

Two movies rolled into one. I don't know how Deadpool's going to beat it at this point and I was looking forward to that more than Avengers.

They actually changed the trailers to avoid spoilers, which was very cool of them. Lots of parts of the trailers weren't in the movie.
Not enough. I still loved the movie but I wish I hadn't seen a particular Thanos/Vision scene in the trailers as an example.

Killing half your fucking heroes at the end.

Yeah I know they're just doing it to set up the fourth installment which is due in a year but still, fucking stupid.
Yeah okay. I get that.
I'm too much of a twat to know how to spoiler tag so don't anyone read this unless you've seen the movie.

Ever see the last episode of Six Feet Under? It reminded me of that a bit with them floating away. Spiderman killed me but I'd already had my stupid tears about Loki and Gamora.

someone asked me if MCU fans should appreciate LucasFilm for their current success.

"The directors (the Russo brothers) just released Infinity War and have talked many times about the influence of George Lucas' creations on their work.

When crafting Thanos for the big screen, the directing duo were aiming to make their own version of Darth Vader, an iconic villain for the ages."

In addition to IL&M pioneering CGI in film & being the largest visual effects vendor in the movie industry today.... there's also a credit to "Skywalker Sound" who has either won or been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Sound and Best Sound Editing every year since Star Wars in 1977.

You can find both of these as well as LucasFilm credited on almost every MCU film.
