I just met him about 5 weeks ago. He has a daughter with a girl I train with.

She just posted this and she has no reason to lie-



David you’re a bitch I am so stupid for ever sticking up for you and letting you get away with what you done to me all I have to say now is any woman who is going through domestic violence get away as soon as you can it will never get better. This guy said he loved me and wanted to take care of me but he did the total opposite and even through all this some how I thought maybe he did love me maybe he would stop ? No it only got worse. This is the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to me in a while and it’s taking a lot to post these but the truth needs to be revealed. He’ll say it’s from jiu jitsu what do you guys think ?

I don't know much about this particular case - other than hearing that his girlfriend accused him of domestic violence but later admitted she made the entire thing up.

Domestic Violence is a huge issue that needs to be taken very seriously, but women who make false claims shouldn't be excused of their actions with a simple "I was emotional" apology. She was trying to ruin his life. That is some serious shit.

Within the last 5 days he was cleared by the cops and got custody of his kid. Not saying he couldnt have beat her but OP also said she trains with him, BJJ I assume, so its also pretty common to have bruises.

Oh and she recanted her story so which time is she lying?

Same girl.

I admit it looks bad retracting her statement.

100% honesty- it looks worse to me from a training partner/fighter stand point.

I believe she was beaten by David. I believe it's happened multiple times and only a couple we know about.

I believe she was beaten and emotionally isn't strong enough to leave him, which is very typical for women who are in abusive relationships. As a FIGHTER, you need to be emotionally tough. The fact she was beaten and retracted her statement, tells me she isn't strong enough to leave him, be her own woman, and like every other typical woman in an abusive relationship, she makes excuses. It's not his fault. It's overblown. It's my fault, etc....


If it comes out this somehow is completely false, besides not being a training partner to her, I won't even look her way in passing.

I wouldn't have posted this though if I felt she was lying. I feel she's being abused, emotionally still attached and wouldn't be surprised if she made more excuses.


Let me ask you guys, does it seem reasonable to get those types of injuries from regular training? This isn't Lion's Den of the 90's.

Does it make sense she was beaten and emotionally isn't mature or strong enough to leave him?

You guys can decide on that.

Just know, I agree false accusations are a crime in itself. I posted this not to insinuate she is lieing, I posted this b/c I believe her and also feel she/they might try to sweep this under the rug as well.

You're wondering if the pics are related to the previous story that she retracted, it's not, it's a new one.

Either this girl is getting beat up far worse in training after she normally trains, or she's getting beaten by someone not a training partner.

We don't beat women up like that at our gym. They know how to make sandwiches and when to shut up :) (joke)

Okay that was the whole point of my question. U said she just posted it yet the prior story was from a few weeks back.

So this is a new story.


However, I'm not gonna lie mate, she said she made up a bunch of stuff a few weeks earlier and apologize for it.

If he talked her down and said sorry she may have done that to save face thinking it's all good now.

It's not just he said she said.

There are other things you can take into account.

The first incident, did the mad uncontrollable girlfriend call the cops, or was it an unbiased concerned neighbor?(it's the latter)


Now, if you're thinking in defense of David Irving...
it makes sense that a long time girlfriend who he knew before stardom/money, doesn't want to lose her meal ticket for what could be an awesome life, and makes accusations, damning ones, to ruin his reputation. Maybe even blackmail him to taking her back?

However, logically how can you explain the pictures?

You have me, someone who has trained with her for almost 2 years at the same gym, knows how training goes, knows how hard she and other gymmates train and is certain she didn't get those bruises from training with us, and I think that should be taken into account.

Yea. I'm sadly worried it was true all along but he talked her around. It's all pure speculation of course. But I trust D342 if he knows her.

Size matters. She may go hard on him, but with his size and athleticism, her 2 years of mma training isn't going to do anything.

Dude was the biggest guy I have ever seen at our gym, and we used to train with a former offensive linemen named jonatan scott.

This dude was just recently suspended a 3rd time for substance abuse and he announced yesterday that he's quitting the league.

Dude is so talented and good when he plays. He is maybe the biggest waste of talent I've ever seen. With Gregory suspension coming up and Irving quitting the Cowboys have big needs along the defensive line. Signing Lawrence long term is now a must.

couldn't agree more.

this was his 3rd suspension (in 3 years IIRC) & he was suspended indefinitely. DAL wasn't bringing him back, doubtful anyone would touch him for at least a year.

DeMarcus Ware floating the idea coming back as a situational pass rusher.
