The anti-Conor trolls don't stop with Conor hate - "derp he never defended a title, that means he's garbage, he's not a real fighter, he's a coward, he's a bum, his legacy is trash, herpaderp scoop de poop poop de scoop."

Meanwhile, whether you like Conor or not, facts are facts: he constantly moved up to challenge himself and put on big fights. When guys like RDA and Aldo dropped out, he told Dana he didn't care who the opponent was, he was up for fighting ANYONE. He went over to a sport he never competed in, and fought arguably the greatest of all time in his first fight, and managed to make it competitive and win more rounds against Mayweather than seasoned ATG boxers like Pacquiao, Mosley, etc. This is a man with brass balls.

Then you have a guy like Mighty Mouse, who gets all the respect in the world. He's defended his title more than anyone. He's p4p #1, the greatest ever, herpaderp. But he does it in a dead division with no true challengers. And when he finally had a TRUE challenger, a guy who actually posed a serious danger to him in TJ Dillashaw, he BLATANTLY ducked him so he could break the defence record against an easy opponent. This isn't even in dispute, it's the official story. Okay, he broke the record, now can he fight TJ? Nope! Ducked again. And now they're both fighting on the exact same card, which further proves the fact there was no legit reason they couldn't fight other than a duck by MM. Now TJ is fighting a legit fight, and DJ is fighting a guy he destroyed easily a year or so ago - a rematch NOBODY asked for.

But yeah, Conor is the coward, and DJ is the greatest because oooooh wow! many defence! such skill! much belt! What a joke.

-Conor might be a knacker, but he moved up. And when RDA/Aldo dropped out, he said he’d fight anyone. So we should respect him,

-He boxed Mayweather and did okay

-A moan about Mighty Mouse

-Not sure about the ending, think he gave up with points.

Mayweather let him have those rounds and killed him at will when he was tired out

I'm not hating on Conor, but it's easy to say "I'll fight anyone" when you know that Daddy Warbucks is protecting your career.

No doubt Conor shows up to fight if he signs, that’s one good quality I admire Conor about

But You’re going to praise Conor’s “I’ll fight anyone mentality” when at the moment he isn’t fighting anyone, for over a year?

If u going to make an argument, “but Conor has so much to lose with all the money he made” that applies same to DJ, doesn’t it? Dj has so much to lose in terms of his legacy/record which is crucial for him to maintain a descent pay since he’s nowhere near Conor’s level of draw

Only hypocrisy I see here is from Conor fans,

Thanks for admitting to it :)

I don't like Connor at all, and put all these guys trying to trash talk(badly) blame square at his feet, but I will say I respected him for how he handled his loss to Diaz. Shook his hand afterwards, didn't run in the back and hide like his life was ruined, talked to the press like a professional and said: "you win some, you lose some."

Otherwise I can't stand the guy.

Conor is a great fighter..but the drama he has brought and the amount of wannabe imitations makes a combat sports purist cringe

OH well, I don't blame him for getting paid....but I only cheer Fights and finishes...the in-between fight fake acts don't interest me at all

My issue with Conor (outside of the insipid dolly/bus thing) is millions of MMA fans supported his fight with Mayweather.
They bought the fight, rooted for him & some even bet on him.
They took the abuse when he lost & kept supporting him.

He could have paid his loyal fans back by fighting in MMA again as a thank you for the support.
He did not deserve that fight, he got it 100% due to the fans
He could have fought again & paid it back

I agree with all of this...but come on...you know you liked it a little bit.

I know I had everyone at work clamoring for me to explain the who what where and why's.

Not at all...was total BS

I was sympathetic to the fighters and the potential careers he altered

for a guy not fighting and holding his fans hostage he is far too dramatic and even criminal for me...immature IMO

Hell yeah. I love pro wrassling, but that is 100% quarantined to pro wrassling. What Conor did was a vicious act that could have caused Chiesa and Rose a payday

I understand 100% understand if you are on the Conor Bandwagon and his antics move your needle. I will point you all to the “Its Still Real To Me Damnit” forums. You will get your fix weekly. Will warn you its more respectful, but you’ll get your fix

I get it. He has a loyal following. I am one of many. BUT, he owes no one a god damn thing! Do you think he fights for you? Or me? Fuck no! He fights for himself and his family. Anyone else who claims they fight for any other reason other than the 2 i just said is full of shit. Say what you will but no man whether it be McGregor or Muhammad Ali fought for anyone but their kin and their loved ones. He would be paid regardless

Conor doesn't owe any of us a fookin ting. We should all be appreciative of his presence when he does come back.

I wasn't alive for Ali and was too young to really enjoy Tyson.

There will never be another Conor McGregor, so enjoy him while you can, dorks.

Can't enjoy anything if they don't fight

And defend their title

Well when you're stripped because you didn't defend your title, that's self-inflicted.
Both times he's been unfairly stripped, he's had every intention of defending his titles.

Blame the UFC. Blame Dana.

But it's not Conor's fault.
