Your mouth writes checks your ass can't cash
That's not nice. I'm a polite and articulate individual 99% of the time. But Dalton is my spirit guide. Be nice, until it's time to not be nice.

I quit writing checks when the banks quit giving out free checkbooks in 2012. it actually felt good to write a big ass check but the flip side of that is it also sucked to write a big ass check when you did have a lot of money.

I try to use debit card most of the time because I look like an actual drug dealer if I roll to a bar with a wad of cash.

I really thought you were at least half that age.
A 20 something not writing a check seems logical with all the innerwebz, bitcoins and such. Strange that a 42 year old has never written a check though. 43 is old enough to have been in the workforce and have bills prior to the internet. Mix6APlix @Mix6APlix , curious to know how you paid bills in the 90's. Also curious to know how you handle your money today. Do you use a bank and go make withdrawals, or keep it all at your house? If the latter, whats your address and what time do you leave for work?

I graduated high school, albeit barely, in 94. Debit cards were already a thing.

I only write checks at the grocery store when its busy as fuck.
They don't take cheques in the UK any more.havent for a few years (at least in stores)

You pay with cash or card here. I didn't have a cheque book in ameriAm. It was always a dickdance when I moved to a new apartment. Id offer cash and they wouldn't take it . I wound up having to use multiple money orders ( and one time I have my dad's gf cash and she wrote me a cheque)

I went in the Army at 17 and we had Bank of America. I got a check book, but was in Basic and had no use for it. When I got to my first station in Germany, a guy had just gotten back from the prison in Mannheim for writing worthless checks. That scared me enough to throw mine away and never write a check lol
