Because the fight stats don't dictate that it was as lopsided as people seem to think it was. Khabib was outstruck on the feet and completed less than half of his takedowns against an opponent not known for his grappling prowess. If Conor can go in and not fight like a man scared the outcome could definitely be different. If he goes in for a rematch in the same deflated state the fight will go the same way.

Finishing half his takedowns has been more than enough to win all of his fights. The only stat that really matters is wins.
