A few big names that were formerly part of the UFC roster have found a new home in Southeast Asia under the ONE Championship banner. All of whom were former champions - namely Eddie Alvarez, Demetrious Johnson, and most recently, retired ex-women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate, who was tapped to hold a Vice President position in the company.

It looks like this list is continuously growing, with the likely addition of Sage Northcutt. The 22-year-old fighter was in Singapore this week to have a dialogue with ONE Championship founder and CEO Chatri Sityodtong about a possible deal.

It's a good move to Sage. Probably the competition in the UFC was just a little bit too much at his age. Go to ONE (still a great org with a lot of good fighters, but maybe not as deep as the UFC) get some more experience and see where it takes you.

It worked pretty damn well for Funky Ben

I like Sage. He appears to be a sincere and good person. His post-fight speeches are alway positive and I would like to see more of that in MMA. It helps balance the Jon Jones cocaine, Conor McGregor bus attacks, Khabib crowd jump, and all the other black eyes this sport regularly gives itself. While I like seeing Sage in the UFC, I think the "Super Sage" high-flying style and image would play even better in the Asian market. I hope he does whatever is best for him.

I agree and it just goes to show that not all fans particularly want a shit talking

Thinking of which... what the fuck kinda dumb ass advice was that? LOL

How dare you speak badly of Sage.

I keep a poster of him in my bedroom and stare longingly at those blonde locks
and dreamy eyes
