Joe Rogan revealed on his most recent Fight Companion for UFC Beijing that the promotion might be making a change to their fingerless glove. Co-host Brendan Schaub brought the topic of eye pokes up, and how Neil Magny had blamed his poor performance against Santiago Ponzinibbio partially on a poke.

”That’s a real problem man, and there is a solution in the works,” Joe said. “I can’t talk about it, I’m sworn to secrecy.”

”They have a better glove design that they’re working on right now,” Rogan revealed. “That someone is working on. I can’t say anything. I’ve already said too much.”

I've always wondered why after the Pride FC purchase, they never changed to those gloves. I know that there's been a "cage vs ring" debate for years, and the Zuffa team were always saying that the octagon was part of the UFC brand, but those gloves weren't, they could have adopted those gloves years ago.

The article pisses me off because it says that Magny blamed things on an eyepoke but that's just not true. Schaub's dumbass said that but Magny flat out said he was punched in the eye.

well I believed it when they had Stich, man! that guy was the REAL THING! He had honor but now there's no one there. Everyone who I could trust has been fired.
